Endgame?

Not sure if this has been covered before (it probably has but I haven't seen anything on it) but I have started doing really well in MTT up until about the last 2 or 3 tables. I may even have a pretty good sized stack.

Then something happens and I get knocked out in 14th or so place. Are there any good tutorials about how to play endgame? I have Doyle Brunson's books and also Al Harrington's books. Just haven't gotten to that part yet, I guess.
