Hi
I am so confused::icon_scra
How do you play the early stages of a 180 pl sng?
What ranges do u play from early, middle and late pos, and how
you play in sb and bb?
Can you 3 bet ats, ajs, aqs sb vs late pos. raiser vpip13 pfr13 and fold aTs if
4bet with only 1500 starting stack?
I keep wanting to open a10o,77 form early and kqs from middle and calling aTs,tjs from the btn is that very bad?
If someone opens utg+1 what u do with aqs, aqo, ajs and 99,tt,jj against vpip 9 pfr9 from utg+3hj and cut off
If someone 3 bet 6,5 and played 20 hands what you do when 3 bet and u in utg with ako and tt?
I also have fancy play syndrome and cant help myself stealing early
Sorry for all the questions if you could answer some would be great thanks

I can say only fancy play is your enemy early in the game. Try to stay tight and don't give away your chips too easy. I used to play fancy too - I've learned the hard way that tight is right

is extremely tigh in the beginning and always use factor 10 bb ie not u have a 1000 blind 50/100 it's time to move this type of tournament and turbo 180 pls take it easy to play for even short stack at the final table the stacks are low in relation to the blinds.

The early stage you should play suited connectors and pocket pairs (AQo, AKo also), it costs really low to see the flop especially when you have a position and you can make some really sweet money on that. I dont know if there is much difference between 180 and 360, but with playing really tight at the beggining you will not have the money to participate on the further stage with higher blinds

It depends on various factors including but not limited to your skill level and your opponents'. The greater your skill advantage, the more you can afford to play modest hands because you're more likely to be able to win pots when no one has much, plus you're better able to limit your losses when you're beat and not in a situation where you can outplay them.

Early in the tournament you play incredibly tight and wait for a good hand. When you get deep you can play more agressively and try to build a stack.

Generally you want to play at least one hand a round if you're playing more than two that's too much. Early position is for great hands use your own judgment cause of chances of reraises. mid position good hands late and blnd lesser. Make a chart and look up the odds of winning with a certain hand that will help. 180 sit n go should generally be played just like any tournament. Don't raise to much preflop then a reraise will kill you.

I think it's right there. In early qualque SNG or tournament devmos be veery selective ... Play only with very strong hands, trying to bend ... After the blinds start to have a significant value, it's time to be more aggressive

As to the O.P I've played minimum of I'd say 300 games this month alone in those and I run like utter crap in them but best advice I'd give you is to honestly not 3bet at all in them without position and if you choose to 3bet, 3bet not on the larger side yet on the smaller side to induce 4bets thus you can safely stack off in them.

Understand that 3betting in these early on players will not be folding (this is the reason I'm telling you not to be 3betting in these early on because players tend to flat majority of raises in these, and you'd be wasting chips in the early levels when you 3bet miss flops vs multiple players).

So early level play in these play it just like that early level, very snug and safe.

Middle stages (about 50-80) players left this is the stage where a 3bet can get less players involved in the hands, thus meaning you could actually profitably 3bet players that have a high fold to 3bet% and it's also the stage where players tend to 4bet light (hoping for a quick double up).

Later stages/near bubble time (pick on the smaller stacks/steal alot), and just open jam, rather than doing a small 3bet as the blinds are very high at this stage.

GL

One more note (Don't run as bad as I did and you should be ok)

I'm the opposite in the beginning of the tournament I play aggressively and I fill the stack. no one did not know of the players and the majority of my tactics even throws on a bluff
