Early in a sit and go, blinds at 15/30, stacks at around 1500. I have pocket 77. I am first to bet and limp in for 30. Another player raises to 150 and it is folded back to me. What is the correct play at this point. Call, raise or fold?

I agree with people, you can't make limp in this situation. Make raise and look, what he gonna do

Limping is bad here but as played if his stack is similar I call the added 120 looking to set mine. Check folding most flops without a 7. For villian your range is pretty clear, not many people have a wide limp calling range that doesn't include small to medium pairs and/or small suited connectors. A limp reraise would put your opponent to a tough decision because it is becoming a more common play with big pocket pairs but would cost you 30% of your stack just to get to the flop and always folding to a four bet. Folding is as bad as limping because they could be squeezing with worse.

hi
first of all you should raise from your position
after the 150 raise its a fold for me.you want only a 7 postflop and you are out of position to make a move

Limp/fold middle pairs when early blinds not bad game, better not to risk and avoid marginal situations.

I prefer a little raise pre flop with middle pair, but I think you may call just 130 to see flop for set. .

Very easy: strong hand = big bank. Bad hand = big loss. But also you can play the bluff. And it will be different situation based on information about your opponents.
