I have a question for you guys. just did a 5 dollar DYM and this was the situation. 7 of 8 players left and I was pretty short stacked. I had 380 chips and we started with 500. Blinds were 80/40. Normally I still play tight at this moment and wait for a chance. 3 guys already folded and i had 7/7. I knew 2 out of 3 guys behind me are tight. I had a hard time making a decision. I did a 3bb so 180. The 2 tight players folded but the aggressive player went all in with 1000 chips. I still didn't like the odd's I had. I am in the money most of the DYM games and I knew that if i folded I had 220 chips left and that I still had a chance to get in the money. I decided to fold and busted out a few minutes after that. What would you do in this situation?

In a 500 short stack game. You with 380, blinds at 40/80 that is an easy shove pre-flop from any position.

Because you said he was the aggressive player I would commit with the 7/7.

you give 45 % chips,and then fold,..and u have only 8 BB..and u have a 77..

what ever u have,if U raise 45 % chips,then U easy show when someone reraise you.

If you already had a fear and you should not have to go all in, then you should immediately fold that 77.

but the best thing u can do,in this situaion is Shove

If you are willing to put that much of your stack in, you should just shove. You are pot-committed at that point anyways. If you know the players behind are tight, I would especially go for it. But with your stack size, 77 is a decent hand. The bonus of shoving is you have more fold equity, so you could win with the best hand, or you could fold better out. If you had a "gut feeling" that it wasn't a good spot, that's okay...fold if you want. My preference...shove.

If it were one of the tight players that raised, I might fold. But being that it was the aggressive player, I would most likely commit the rest of my chips.

well, i will call, i will stay with 3bb only.... you have one pair already, the player is agressive, so you winning him 60% of times.... no other option.

But i go all in in pre flop

you cant raise with that stack, you dont have enough stack to make moves postflop so its a standard shove preflop.
