Double Re-buy

I've noticed that in a lot of tournaments that have re-buys enabled, that first few hands will have a load of shoves, with the losers coming back with twice as many chips.

I find this slightly annoying, probably as it's something I don't do and it gives an advantage to them. I think it is either a really clever way to start with more chips, or a way for "bad" players to lose their bankroll three times as quick.

Do you use double re-buys and what is your opinion on them?

This is a way to draw money out of players for pokerstars. It's profitable. For the same money get twice as many chips. I very rarely do re-buy. But this is only my personal opinion.

players in such tournaments make a double rebuy, then make an add on, and eventually all your bankroll if you do not buy anything to become small in relation to the players who have bought it, so I do not participate in such tournaments

If you do not like rebuy, try not to play those kind of tournaments then.
