doing well in a tournament but meant to be going out in 2 hours??

i ended up playing mostly turbos today as i am off uni atm, and the odd satellite and reg speed tournament. i satellited into the Big $8.80 and as the money bubble burst i was barely above my starting stack at 5k chips- losing most to a complete donk. however, i then got some good hands and played well against the spewy donk with constand aggression and, coupled together with ko'ing another guy too, ran 5k chips up to 100k in like 10 minutes.
there are now 311 people left, and i am 27th, although i could get ko'd in the next hand- the biggest stack is at my table but he seems like a donk like that other guy- i could end up making a decent run at it.
the problem is, i am meant to be going out, what should i do?? potentially $6.7k first prize haha

I would have stayed in How did it go ? Are you still going ?

1; never play if you can't finish it.
2; definetly finish it if you're getting deep, unless it's something really important, or a date or something.

yep still going 23rd/ 62 playing well and running well. going to try go out but i am not leaving until i get ko'd or win haha
