Do you think HU makes you better at handling tilt in other formats if you practiced it? Or would it only improve the tilt feelings you get while HU?

no i think if you're on tilt you should sort yourself out before playing anything or else you'll go broke

I think I am in a decent position to answer this I recently moved to heads up hyper turbos and am doing very well there.

I will say though when you lose 7 games in a row to a total fish whos strategy is raise raise raise and re raise shove every single hand and you play back getting all in consistently with the best hand and lose or on some stupid cooler eg AA on a 722 board well he raises me there every time im never putting him on 82 and folding etc.
this has happened its hardly good for your tilt factor.

ultimately i think every game format will sometimes go against you and you can tilt in any and every game. i normally prefer hyper games now simply due to the fact they are over quickly so if someone is going to get lucky on me its that one game and not several hours of effort done in.

also side note family against my gambling brothers wife was round and saw my roll i heard her silently repeat it to herself so i know she made a mental note of it.

in the last two days with bonus and running hot/playing well i have almost doubled the roll.

cant wait until they try to catch me out and ask how much it is now.

If Im tilt, I rather choose games that are slow. In that way, I have time to

recuperate/recover. My loses would be slowed down likewise.

absolutely not, in fact heads up sit & go increases the chance to start a "martingala" with your bankroll....

Just play several hands 500k plus, until you have pretty much seen everything that can happen in a hand at least a 100 times. Then you just become immune to it. Tell the donk that sucked out a 2 outter on ya nice hand and good luck, then move on to the next game/tourney/hand, etc. Knowing that most of the time you are going to win in that spot over time.
