I'm very careful when close to the bubble but there is no way I'm laying down awesome hand, and yes to the question, most people are stilling when it's a bubble, just saying (I have done it to)I just don't have it in me to lay down a good hand

In such a situation, it is better to play with the instinct of other players, the ICM factor will often allow you to increase the stack. Do you play on instinct?

Instinct is very important for a poker player, but overconfidence is also very dangerous for a poker player.

If you are the regular your instincts are experience and calculating at the subconscious level! But if you are the beginner your instincts will joke on you a lot Do you play on instinct?

Usually I play very carefully. And I pray to God that does not come to AA, or KK. They scared to play on the bubble. Usually on the bubble big stacks are playing against small and medium-sized stacks and often play with medium-strength hands. And even if you are a favorite before the flop, then the flop or other streets you can lose your entire stack and get into the money.

I dont play on my instincts so much but look to take advantage of the ones who are. If they are looking at the clock live or just timing the clock online I will push them to grow my stack. To be honest cashing is not my goal but winning the whole tournament is.

I play careful yet smart when close to making the money. I realize that most people in the tournament are playing to cash at this point, making it easier to bet/steal pots.

I often play on my instincts based on what I have learned from how other players have been playing at my table. Easy to pick up trends of players and from notes on players I have kept makes in easier to play on my gut feeling on if or not they are "pushing" and bluffing.

Depends some as well on the pay off and what being in the money brings. The higher the amount I would play to 1st get in the $$ and once in then go for the gold Do you play on instinct?

Sometimes, it happens that I play intuitively, impulsively, but usually, it ends badly for me. Therefore, it is obvious that any emotions in poker are superfluous.

I thought that the poker player has to have instinct. I think that the answer is yes, it is definitely incredible but it feels if your opponent lies or if you think that the best flop will come out

Instict or intuition is basic for taking decisions in the game, when things are not so clear. This means that almost every time we use our instict to seal our decision.

The decision will i play anything when i'm close to bubble exclusively depends on my stack size.In every hand that i'm involved i use my instinct.

I am trying to educate myself to listen to my instinct as much as possible, as 90% of the time when I go against my instinct it proves to be the wrong decision by the end of the hand. But that's just me, not advising others to do the same. As far as the bubble goes, I'm always trying to not pay attention to when the bubble approaches in order to avoid temptation to change my play. I don't want my play to change in any way on the bubble because in my opinion it pays more to win tournaments once in a while rather than just make it into the money more often.

I play because it is a captivating and pleasant game. instinct is gained over time I think all players have to have a little instinct if they shouldn't play roulette

Over time I have really learned how to trust my instinct. The more experience I have the better I can evaluate something both consciously and subconsciously. I've noticed that when it comes to a particular gut instinct that I am better of listening to it. I feel like the more I have played the better my gut reaction has gotten and actually save a good amount of money that way. It's kind of a way to make the right decision when circumstances are usually beneficial but end up giving me the worst of it when the hand is all said and done. But I'll never play on straight instinct

sometimes you get that feeling... your right but still lose and others your wrong but suck out for the win. I think the more experienced you are the better you instinctively read a situation and can act

Only thing that keeps me sane. If you make it to the final table and you jam a healthy stack and something tells you you are going to get donked. But who in their right mind would call with well over 30 big blinds and the queen nine off and flop the straight at the final table?

I have never seen a play like this and yet i somehow knew it was going to happen and i believe the game i love is rigged . Am i upset i didnt get a couple of dollars ? or am i upset that i was in the tournament for 5 hours(subconsciously i knew his play style so i knew it could possibly happen i guess) or (its happened so many times im now in fear, rightfully so because of the variance involved).

I can play on instincts from the beginning of the game to the last table. But at the last table, when more than one player goes to allin, you sometimes need to keep yourself from the temptation to go to allin with a premium card too. At the last table you need to think more.

I would say it is probably the 80/20 rule for me. Most of the time I play solid, by the book, mathematical poker and then 20% of the time I just get a feeling and roll with it. Sometimes I know I am beat and just can't lay it down. Working on fixing that in my game.

This is so true. You do not want to show any indecision or fear. Other players will pounce on you for that. Pot odds and implied odds help you make solid decisions that will help you be more profitable.

Frankly, the first time I always played due to instinct, I did not believe in poker software and poker math. But one day I met a man who convinced me. Now it happens very rarely that I listen to my instinct, I trust poker statistics and poker math more. I think instinct can be used in live poker.

I often will rely on my gut feeling or instincts with a bit of logic as well. I am not going to make a decision on the bubble unless I really feel I am most likely right. Although I do use mathematical deductions on top of my instinct. Maximize my hand potential if my gut is wrong. I�m not calling on the bubble if my hand doesn�t have reasonable chance if I�m behind. Table reads, player notes, playing style,
(Whether or not the player is shoving with the monster stack in an attempt to steal and brutalize the bubble, or is they are super tight) often dictate instinct therefore it�s always gonna be more than just my gut or at least it helps in the determination. Risk vs reward even on the bubble. Many big hands are won and lost on the bubble.

I think this may seem like a silly question but it's a good question. I don't think emotions are very much our poker friends. Keeping them under control is the best we can do to improve our game.

Playing gut will not work. You are literally the gambling on your emotions not backing it up with percentage play. Know your odds and your opponent.

I'm a live ring game player. My usual request is a full rack and they ask me what table sir. I say triples. That cost me 300 bucks. I might need more depending on the guys and gals at the table.
I've got to the point to forget everything online. I am here and decidedly weak.....let's play.

Here's the thing. If everyone plays gto, no one wins. You have to have instinct a decent amount of the time in order to take advantage of opportunity.

Your post makes no sense. What does looking at the clock have to do with playing on instinct?

Unfortunatelly when my instict says sth , I tend not to follow it , instead I play sometimes very very loose and other times when I have made mistakes or close to the bubble scared tight poker .
I try to change it by studying hands and I want to study more things in the future , which will give me confidence on my game and I will trust my instict more Do you play on instinct?

I try to play by percentage but there is always some hand that we play by instinct even if it is not recommended
