in everygame of holdem there comes a time when you have no choice but to go all in.

its a difficult situation being so close to being in the money stages of the tournament especially if you are the short stack.

so being in the mid position every player has limped
you have 2bb left and you have JJ

do you A = push
B just call

ps i find that jacks are far worse than pocket 10s but what do you think???

Most of the time in that situation i'm "All In Balls Deep" lol because like you said so close to the bubble and passed midway you know you're more likely to find your opponent will fold but if they call the it is what it is, you stand a good chance with JJ for sure... my opinion and by no means take that and blame me for a loss later on lol

With 2 BB, insta shove, not a good habit to let yourself get that low.

You have to push ….Period. You call no matter what hits on the flop you still have to call you're committed. at 2 BB even if 2-7 off popped up I'm still shoving Anything Below 10 BB you're pretty much in a Any 2 Cards mode

In Poker on line it is quite common to make this decision, maybe the least risky way to do it is to know which opponent you are facing.

If it's a donkey or shows signs of being a shark, you'll think twice.

No reason to just call here. You might get the BB or any player behind to fold a K3o type hand that could outflop you. Besides, with 2 BB, you are already pot committed. Are you gonna fold on an Ace-high flop? Put the chips in and pray.

Go all in... push other players out who could catch cards.

With JJ, this is an easy push, because you can accept such cards as 910, 67, 89 and you will have the opportunity to double and + pick up the ante. And if you limp it will be bad for you. Because the flop bb you may not pay further.

Looks like everyone has advised you already - but you are even considering just calling anything with only 2 bb's you have a major leak in your game.

JJ is a complete non-decision in this situation - even with more than 2 bb's.

All in. Yes it's bubble time but with only two BB's you have to shove in my opinion.
Better then getting blinded out.

I agree with Debi , by shoving 2bbs I will call you on the BB even with 72 off , I don't have fold equity here. To apply this strategy[open jam on the bubble] you should be aware of ICM dynamics and more importantly your opponents must be aware of ICM.

I don't think that freerolls and micro buy in tournaments are suitable for the above strategy. You will find the application of those spots at some turbo SnGs.

obvious push with 2bb

also, look into your 10-15 bb shoving stacks so when you double up you are actually back in the tourney

This is a difficult situation.
If you have a good hand and few chips, you have to go all in, but the tournament may be over!
If you do not take the risk, the blind may be eaten later!
I think that's the essence of poker!

Only unconditional ALL INN and yes if you believe that a pair of jacks worse couple dozen then you have serious problems with the combinatorics!

Easy shove - I'm assuming you were pretty card dead up to this point - to let yourself get down so low. I would have shoved any single J or suited T in LP long before getting to this point.

Re: TT better than JJ. I'll take the JJs you can have the TTs preflop all-in. See who wins! :)

I agree with most of the previous posts that all in is the best option.

Your opinion that a higher pocket pair is worse than a lower has a foothold nowhere.

When i'm forced to play all in for example when it's risk i cannot survived to the bubble then i go all in. in other situation reluctantly but when it's worth it why not.

JJ never win for me, but I think at that point I fold if it means making the bubble.
