Play safely and do not fall into the trap of thinking that you are on a lucky day. This thought only blinds you and causes you to risk more than planned. And luck is something very abstract, so being a superstitious person can be a rock in the shoes of any player.

If you talk about the cache, then I think it's optimal to play 3-4 tables of zoom, two sessions for two hours a day. This is approximately 3-4 thousand hands per day or 60-80 thousand hands per month

The only importance of luck in poker is that if luck did not play any role, the fish would simply not play, because it is luck that gives them the opportunity to win from time to time.

I believe that I sometimes get lucky in poker and luck helps me, it often happens when the players go all-in and I also play on a bad card and I get a great combination and luck has chosen me, but sometimes I lose on a very good card, sometimes good luck in poker helps you win!

People use different terms for `luck` be it a `bad beat` or `cooler` ,,,luck plays a part in all our lives, some just are not paying enough attention,or can rationalize,or chalk things up as circumstance,,,it`s more comforting to think you have control,as opposed to just blowing in the wind, like we all are. :dancing2:

completely agree that it happens that there is absolutely no luck, I made a deposit of $ 5 for a task in full in one day and completely lost my task and my AA and KK did not complete the task four times before preflop Allin.

Luck is on short term. The only problem with luck is when it's not in the bigger MTT's that you are playing.

For example this weekend I got very lucky in a 1$ hyper MTT (3rd place) and I got eliminated in the middle stage of the sunday storm. I had QQ and he had A8, playing a 50BB pot. So, I would want to win this hand and lose in the 1$ MTT.

This I consider to be the problem with luck.

By playing ok, big volume and the same stakes, the luck it's eliminated.

The opposite is also true, when you feel bad luck is on your side. You tend to make mistakes just based on that... Emotions are killer in this game :)...

Maybe. But I'd MUCH rather be playing on a lucky day than an unlucky one. There's no science to it of course, it just happens that when you're on a roll, you're on a roll, and when you're not, you're not.

Yes, I try to be as lucky as I can. But I find that luck is random and good and bad luck seem come in fairly equal amounts, you see, it's all about statistics. It's like flipping a coin. If you flip a coin 5 times and it comes up heads 4 times it's statistically more likely to come up tails the 6th time. To combat this I try to use up all my bad luck before I play a tournament. This is done by walking under ladders, crossing paths with black cats and throwing salt over my left shoulder. This doesn't entirely divest myself of bad luck but it does heavily weigh any future luck in favor of the good kind. With this in mind you should be less inclined to play a tournament, or even get in a car, if you've been having a run of good luck, say winning the lottery or getting trapped in an elevator with a super model. Good luck sir. or should I say BAD LUCK! :top:

Luck is fickle thing. The Russian language has a phrase: "one day in the coach, two days walk." Never it is impossible to be 100% pragmatist. And to believe that all the victories only through experience, too, is wrong.

Without good luck the poker would be boring. It is necessary to hope sometimes and for good luck

As far as luck goes I think you just have to play your game and if you make the right decisions and things still dont go your way, hey - thats the game - all you can do is all you can do and eventually varience will be on your side - or luck which ever you want to call it

Luck in the short term, yes. But luck over the course of thousands of tournaments, no. And some people also get lucky by doing well in a tournament that’s much higher than their average buy-in. That’s something that has never happened to me. So I guess I’m an unlucky poker player. I’ve had a lot of final tables and 1st place results, but it never happens when the top prize is a life changing amount of money.

Off, finally, he touched this topic with luck in poker. Yes, I think 70% of poker is science, and 30% is lucky.
