Hey again. I've been playing SNG all along, micros but i have been in a downswing. In the last 20 games i have been ITM only 3 times 2 2nd and 1 3th. The other 17 i have been more than 5th place. I ve tried to play my best but somehow i'm just getting worst at it. I have noticed in Turbo games i can't play my best.

Should i play another type of game?
I don´t have a bankroll. i play most freerolls and get ITM 60% (few cents on 888) of them and lose it on Sit and Go.
I used to win and most get on 4th. Now i can't even get 4th from 10th

Being able to make the money 60% of the time in freerolls is huge. Perhaps you should stray from the sit and goes and play some micro stakes tournaments of a larger size. You may just be better suited to something you can grind out as opposed to being forced to make moves before you are ready. As far as turbo's are concerned I am not the biggest fan either, it just feels to rushed...

Going to 30% of the players is also a good indicator! I think that you play more in tournaments, try playing tournaments with micro-bain, good luck and good games!

I've made that mistake many times before. Just avoid using up the money on high variety games such as Turbo Sit and Go's. To play them somewhat safely you have to have at least 30 buy-ins. If you're not good at them, then don't rush it. Play games you are good at, like micro tournaments so you can move up to 1$ buy-in.

I have been thinking the same. The thing is that I used to be better at SNG and now i lost all my micro wallet. Yesterday i lost my last 2 buy-ins. Got 4Th. Bubble guy.

Oh thanks. I guess your right. When i have played i have won some all in preflop but the maniacs here, on these freerolls that blinds go up every 3 minutes, are going all in with 69 off 56 off 34s and these donks are chip leaders. Sometimes i pay AQs and my range is tight but somehow i lose it ag these guys and never get on the last 10 players when you can win more than 2.5$, and first 8-10$.
Only once i get 5th and get $7 then i get 50th making like 30c. Anyway i think i'm doing best at mtt than SNG.

Since 2/1/2018 that i'm tracking these i started with $1,14 made of SNG and freerolls.
I have buy in $2.74
29 games played

Get $1.63 : From Freerolls $0.79 From SNG $0.64 From Jackpot tournament:$0.20

$1.14+$1.63=$2.77

$2.77-$2.74
Wallet: $0.03 :(

All these on 888poker

I don't mind about quantity cause these are candy shopping. I'm trying to think what would happened if i'm making a deposit and getting thesese indicators.

I'm like a tiny micro Daniel N.(2017) Getting ITM but spend it more in buy-ins.:D

Downswing is a phenomenon that periodically occurs in the career of each player

Downswing is a phenomenon that periodically occurs in the career of each player. Sooner or later, luck still needs to come back to you. Just need to choose the type of game that suits you most and play a lot in it. When you start downswing, the problem here is not the type of game, but the problem in your strategy or just temporarily unlucky. I have been playing live poker for 8 years, and downswing periodically begins there too. In order for it to end, I take a break for a few days, and luck returns to me. I wish you good luck in your games and most importantly do not give up.

Getting back my cents

Since i had 3ctv i keep playing freeroll and getting ITM in 5 games for 0.78. My micro mini BKR is now 0.81. For now i will keep away from SNG and still trying to Get in final table at these freeroll. I'm trying to be disciplined by the time i make a deposit and to know that i have to stick to some games and getting far from some other.

What tournament format are the freerolls where you cash 60% the time? Stick to that style of tournaments when you buy in on them. Stay away from Spin & Go if you notice they not suitable for your game.

When we play freerolls on 888 which are mostly ST in nature. We must decide whether we are playing for mere 10-20 cents I.e. to get into the money so that our ROI and graph remains always positive or we are playing to get into top 50-20 or in the final table. If we are only satisfied with 10-30 cents then a tight play with delaying time bank is a good strategy in 888 ST freeroll. It will always make you in the money 60-70% but when it comes to get up in the ladder then we must play very loose game to get a big stack as in ST games Stack size matters hugely as it gives you tremendous cushion against increasing blinds irrespective of how we get it either by playing 2 7 or A A. In ST freerolls even if we able to maintain 8-10 BBs regularly it will be very commendable to run deep into the tourney.

You are rigth. I try to play tight but aggresive. Sometimes the baddest hand beat you and you easily can get ITM when you have double up. But i want to be in the final table. Only once get 7th and the latest good place was 70 of curse from more than 3000 players but it is really hard at ST speed.

Now i got 31° in one tournament and won $5.15 making my bankroll at $6.09. I'm going to keep at this kind of game and not try Sit an Go and Cash like i have donde before and lost it all. I want to make at least a $20 BKR to star playing more micro MTT.

Keep tracking my games. I enter a MTT and got to the final table. Finished 9° and cashed. $6.64. Now BKR is $12.23. It hurts cause 1° win 95$ and i was chip leader for a long time. But 34 players left. When i got to final table i was 9/9 and A9s was beaten by 45s flop gave 5A5. After 4 hours i was tired. I think i'm getting better at MTT. i guess now i can play some Sit and Goes for 50ct. just 4 buy-ins to see how it goes.
Anyone can tell if that is good idea or should stick to tournaments and no risk a peny to Sit an Go.
Thanks

you have a very good level of play to get to win prizes so many times in freeroll is a difficult task, I would recommend playing SNG more expensive

Hi. So far i'm doing great at freerolls and some micro tournaments i have been ITM at 3/3 until yesterday. I play a little Cash más lost few bucks. I play 3 Sit and Go and got ITM 1/3.
At the Cash Game was doing it great i had double the entry. But my set of kings was beaten by a runner runner flush. and lose until have of the entry.
I lost half what i had won in the tournament that day.
I know in poker you win and lose. But somehow i do good(not great) in a MTT and planning still doing it.

If I am tilting, or on a downswing, I like to stay away from the faster paced games, and go with a regular speed to let me think and be more forgiving with mistakes. Punting away chips in a hyper or turbo tournament can get you in a spot you can't get back from without getting really luck and slower tournaments give you a chance to get back into it. If you are feeling the MTT's, stick with them to build up your bankroll, and maybe try to get into higher stakes micro SnG's to get some more consistent, less frustrating play from other players.

I find the turbo time to be a lot more gambler than reg speed. Sometimes blinds can increase so quickly that if you’re a nit you’re down to less than 15BB quickly. Try switching to micro tourneys that are reg speed and wait to take your shots.

20 Games is not a sample size.

Wait to play in real $ games for when you have a roll to do so (30+ buy-ins for SNG, 200+ for MTT)

i suggest to stick with the games you are good at; if you play sng well then stick with them. if not, go mtts. so the idea would be to stick playing freerolls cause it seems like free money for you. then, try playing something like mtt or sng, but not cash, as cash games are a little different and your skillsed developed playing freerolls fits better in a tournament environment, where sometimes, you are just trying to survive.

The 888 really a lot of maniacs and donkeys, I would advise you to only play in freerolls, try star in poker or other client to play for money.

Thanks. For now i'm playing micros at PS 0.50$ and 1$. Got 3/3 ITM. 2 of 0.50$buy in and 1 of 1$. grow my micros bank to 14$. I tried 2.2$ twice and lost it. And cash game won some and lost the next day. Now bank is 5.60$ Will back again to 0.50$.AT 888 since last time i have played cash and MTT. wins and loses now Bank is $12.15

I asked you in other post. How to improve like sometimes i'm in a very good position like 10 or 20 top chip leader in the middle of the tournament with 300BB when they are at level 9 125/250 or 120 when i'm level12 250/500. And i start going downer to being short 15-BB. It is a figth there to not going out without cashing, but i manage to finish
20° - 30°. I want to go up, like my best when got 9°, and obviously want to get top 5. Question is. I see chips graph of chip leaders guy and when they got 10th they satr to go upper mos times, not like me going down.
What should be my range with that amount of BB and how many hands should play?

I know it. Buuut there is something wrong with me that i can stick to "the plan". I play cash and SNG. obviously MTT and freerolls too. But i cant be away from those cash games. Right now i just lost 4$ at cash on PS. I had straigth 8-9d flop hit Td Jd Qs . Bet hard and IDIOT calls with QKd. Turn 2s. Villain shove all in. i call. River hit 9s he got the best straigth. Well it happens. Lost 2$ that i had made $3.10 and the next hands lost it all.
The next one table. Had Ks9s flop Kh 9d 7d turn Td Villain all in i knew i didn't flush yet. Well River Qd Villain shows KdQc.
I think that there is bad luck for me at Cash. I start playing and win sometimes double, but then with good hands lost most of it.
