Yes I agree that playing with conviction and aggression can get you a long way. Just need to learn when to use that. What positions to play etc.

Nice video....It happens to me, I can cash in a good percentage of tournaments but it is difficult for me to reach the final table and to be among the first three. I will try to put into practice some things of this video to see how it goes. Thank you !!!

those are just statistics ...you need to know how he think in the game. After that, you will be able at least to approach his winnings.

Try to go for the win

I want to say more, but this is really the words of advice I offer.

This means pick up your play in position and open up a few more hands late tourney than you are used to,

but do it smartly. Don't be a donk. =]

One of my favorite videos, it actually changed the way I approached MTTs.

I went on a killer run on Carbon Poker after watching this and changing up my approach and I ended with a record of 151 Final Tables in 355 MTT cashes, 52 Top 3 finishes.

I also won 10 MTTs as a casual player in the span of 20 months. Prior to that, I had only won 1 or 2 in years and years of playing. So, it was a huge shift in success at the micro stake MTTs.

I've continued to play and, while I don't play as often, I still have continued success.

You're tightening up too much in the mid-late stages. I'm sure you probably try to sit on a short stack and try to get into the money, but once you do, it's a hard climb up from a short stack and you end up busting before the final table.

WOW!

with a record of 151 Final Tables in 355 MTT cashes, 52 Top 3 finishes.

That's like 40% FT, 14% Top-3 once you made into the money. That's just Incredible.
I wish I had that kind of results. I will keep these numbers as reference and start working on my game even more.

Congrats on such a feat though! Huge Respects!

It's sounds incredible, but the fields were pretty small. Usually <500 players. I think the largest field I beat was >2K.

I think the most incredible thing is 99% of the MTTs, I late registered and started with 15-20 BBs. Sometimes 10 BBs.
