Cash-Out Trny FTP??

Does anyone play these? I play them and have been making some money cashing out early. I play until I get 50$ worth in chips then cash out. Done this about 4 times now and seem to be able to do it enough to be making some regular profit of the game. Nothing big but enough that it is worth the time. I have found the bigger the field the easyer it is to get that amount of chips. Anyone have experience playing these tournaments, and if so what is the best strategy to play them? I know the idea of cashing out is not overly a good one but for some one with small bank roll it seems to be working out for me. Would like to hear opinions on this.

Well my opinion is that while you are taking the sure money, you are robbing yourself of the opportunity to make the larger scores which is the goal of most, if not all, MTT players.

I might have to look into these as I seriously suck in the late stages of a tourney, but do pretty well begining to mid.

That is one of the reasons I decided to do it. I am pretty good at cashing in tournaments but have a hard time at the end getting to the final table. I found this to be a great way to get a decent return on the MTT with out having to make the final table.

I agree with marginal. I like the idea of being able to cash out, but I think it's better to go for the final table. That's where the real money is, and it should be your ultimate goal in every tournament. If I was in a position to cash out for a pretty good profit, or in position to make a deep run, I'd go for the FT. It would be so much more rewarding to go deep in the tourney, rather then cash out for the guaranteed money.
