I have started to get interested in MTT's. Haven't started playing but would like to. Tho, I want to have some kind of base to stand on when I start. Would be very nice if anyone could answer some of these questions. I'm from Europe, I can play on most sites. I want to play holdem.

1. How many sites and what sites should I have a bankroll on to play MTT's?

2. I think I could spare $1000 to this project. To little? I want to play $1-$5 tournaments at least.

3. Good series to watch that shows the basics(ranges, early play, mid play, bubble play etc?

4. What stats is good to have in your MTT hud?

5. Anything else that's good to know?

If I placed this in the wrong forum, sry.

Imo you should not pay too much attention to odds as you do with cashgames, where you van rebuy unlimited.

Also, for a bankroll I would use (at least) 50 bi's. So if you want to play $5 MTT's , you need $250 for a bankroll.

$1000 is a good bankroll for lathe field micro mtts it gives you 200 buy ins for $5 gxmes which is about what you should be using for MTT. poker stars is a must for a serious grinder and if you wanted you could mix other sites as well. I've not played any but I heard party is alright for MTTs and full tilt has plus 888 are worth looking into as well for on a the side.

Check out gripsed on YouTube they have a good series where he analysis wins from start to finish plus I think some other fundamentals if you go through some of his earlier vids. If you're going to play solely MTTs then I'd recommend you mix in some small filed stuff like poker stars 180man sit n GOS or 888s tournaments as well.

I suggest to play only in pokerstars, but if you want play in more than a one site then secound - fulltilt. These are best sites in my opinion.
1000$ is good, very good.
One thing I want to say - If you wanna win normal money, then you should play aggressive in all stages of tournament. If you slow down in middle (when cash zone stars) then there is only little possible that you could got to TOP20 and win normal prizes.

Pokerstars is best out there. Their VIP system is really good.

With 1000 bankroll you could try to play and bigger tourneys than 5$. 100-150 buy ins is enough for playing MTTs.

There are a lot of books online that you can buy. You can try: Harrington on Hold 'em Expert Strategy for No Limit Tournaments

You should add and 4bet and fold to 4bet to your hud

I believe that you need to play on PokerStars, because there has a different level of players and you can hone your skills for dlneyshih big wins in multi-table tournaments like the Sunday Millions

So glad you posted this! I'm going to look through more of it when I get a chance. I'm always looking to improve my MTT game.

This would be a cool sig.
Mind set:
Tournaments are all about variance, if you aren’t going to embrace variance and playing for 6 hours and bubbling everything, go play cash.
