Doesn't happen often but sometimes it feels no matter how well you play. There will be times I am so extremely card dead that it's hard to get much going. Even stealing a some pots here and there it just doesn't add up after a while. Any tips at all, it rarely happens but when is does it is very frustrating and feels like it's beyond your power some games that regardless of what you do it will not be a deep run.

Being card dead happens all the time.
Got to have the mindset that you are just one hand away from running hot. Steal pots where you can no matter how small and pray for a table redraw.

Yes it's horrible. I played my first multi day live tournament and went card dead for 3-4 hours. I didn't even know that could happen for so long :) Brutal. Sometimes it's just not your day.

It's bound to happen especially live where you probably aren't getting a lot of hands in at each level.

Really Nintendo, there are days that everything goes wrong, we often play well at the beginning and middle of the tournament and after that we end up falling into marginal hands when we have top pair (AA, KK, QQ), patience, we know poker has these same things And that we have to know how to handle these moments.

So that's it, GL on the tables !!!

I think everybody who has ever played poker have had days where no matter what cards you have or how you play them things seem to go wrong, not only is it frustrating it also bloody annoying which can induce a tilt moment especially when you see your stack disappear seemingly through no fault of your own, I think its something you have to live with and I agree you feel powerless just take a break and hope next time there is an improvement, it don't last forever lol

Card dead is what sperates the good from the great. One is going to run into the long periods of time just fold, fold, fold. It's great to raise after awhile cause if your table is paying attention and they'll assume you have a big hand if you raise. I do it all the time and steal a pot here and there with Jack-shhhh......

Sometimes you just got to act like that 2 5 in your hand is Aces and put on a little Hollywood

In one of the blogs, Famous Poker (which we all know), the player is called Down Strick. It must simply wait and the card will start to come.
