My poker game is improving, and I am currently making a deep run in the Carbon nighly 5.50. Top 5 in chips with just over 2 tables to go. I am very hopefuly to take this down. I have put a lot of work in to my game and am staying ahead of the pack. Running over my table and making very good reads.
Let us run good, and if any cardchat players are in, good luck!

3rd. Went right to bed as i am now at work. What a drag. 3rd for 250$. Fatigue set in. I felt i played hands correctly but was facing an aggressive calling station. I should have allowed down, because if i bet he always called. With a pair of 2's he would call my ftr bets. In the end, re-raised AK from sb, after button limped. He shoved for my remaining 15bb. His 44 holds. A great effort by me, and a true testament to my game. I stayed ahead of the average stack and chipped up each level.

See you all around the tables.

Good job!

You found that seldom seen fatigue wall. The thing is, everyone else is probably up against that wall too. In a big win I had, nearly 12 hours long, fatigue took out many players when they got big stacks and just left, knowing they would end up ITM. I have seen that happen a couple of times and it is never talked about. It is a real phenomena possibly unique to OLP in how it plays out. Live games tend to have enough distractions around to keep the mind distracted rather than focusing on how tired it is as in a long OLP tourney.

Lesson is to be prepared like a Boy Scout to invest a long time to winning. Else buy a lotto ticket.

To your point, I have actually fallen asleep while playing in some of those games with never ending late registration. I once had over 1.5 mil in one game, woke up and found my computer had "gone to sleep" and I was down to less the 500k and short stacked.

Glad it was only a $5.50 buy in.

I like that 2.5K guarantee except that if you run deep it will keep you up til 3 or 4 AM, East Coast.
