I was just curious on any thoughts/advice on the best way to play these bumblebee rooms on merge. Carbon is not where I deposited (credit card doesnt work on merge), but I do have a $1 sitting around from a Fun Step. I was going to see if I could turn that into $5 just playing the .11 super turbo 6-man SNGs (bumblebee room).

Is the best strategy to play tight and way for your cards, or do the blinds come way to fast on these super-turbo 6-max SNGs? Is it even possible to "crush" these tournaments, or is there way to much luck involved?

Hi,
I actually started off with around 80cents on carbon poker and grinded it up to $4 playing these (I lost it sometime later, but that's not the point). When it comes down to bumblebee tournaments, here's the thing I learned from someone, and it actually worked quite well.

At the beginning, only shove with TT+, AJ, AQ, AK. Anything lower, just fold. The reason behind folding pocket pairs TT is because the chance of them getting a higher pair or just having 2 over cards is too high. However, you want to gamble as there are fewer players left. As it gets down to fewer players, start increasing your range and shoving when you're in position. Dont increase it too much, but start shoving with things like K8 or QJ. The key is winning all your 60/40's.

Super turbos play vastly different than your normal tournament. The blinds go up very fast and you will often be getting it far more lightly than you would in a regular or even turbo SnG. Knowing proper ranges to call with and what to shove with BvB helps alot.

With this said however, it is very easy to run bad over a decentish sample size (like 200-400 games) and it not be weird at all. You can beat Super Turbos for about 3-5% ROI if you're awesome, but most decent players that grind these are ok with breakeven and just getting rakeback from them.

I play these all the time I love them. Bottom line its all in or fold. Just wait for your all in hand and hope you win the race.
Good luck
