It was difficult to vote on this... because it didn't have a spot to check off 'NEVER in a gazillion years!' or 'Not a f'n chance!'

So far popularity seems to be at a near standstill... I'm the only response on here in over a week. Maybe like cap tournaments, it'll just take awhile to take off.

CAP tournaments are imo far better then the regular ones.
Final table still has very good payout structure and you avoid playing for 5 hours just to earn 3-4 buyins if you bust somewhere before finale table ( which is the case in many pokerstars tournaments)

OP wasn't referring to tournaments that have the number of entrants Cap'd... ie. 500 CAP, 1,000 CAP (meaning a maximum of 500 or 1,000 entrants). No, instead he's referring to something else altogether (playing tournaments with a CAP on the betting)

I agree with you, i like cap tournaments as well like 500 max or 1000 max however i have made this poll to ask players if they would like to have cap betting tournament ( not players cap as they already exists) just like cash games in which you have a maximum amount of blinds you can bet on every hand. this cap can vary from 30 or 40 bb in turbo mtt to even up to 100bb in deep stack tournaments. for example in sunday million you have 200bb starting chips so lets say pokerstars decides to make another 215 buy in tournament with the same structure as sunday million. the only difference with nl holdem is that a player with a 10000 stack will have 100bb cap to bet so if the tournament initial blinds are 25/50 then the cap will be 5000 chips. then when blinds are 50/100 cap will be 10000 chips. as soon as the tournament progresses most players wont be affected by the cap because most of them arent going to have 100 bb, so why do i think its a good idea to make cap tournaments? to make players with bigger stacks to have less variance on the long run especially when they face another deep stack player with a +100 bb stack ( the cap can be less than 100bb for example a 50 or 75 bb cap would be plenty enough to avoid losing all your chips on coolers or bad beats when you are deepstack and you are facing another deepstack player.)

I wish they would start with 3,000 chips instead of 2,000. I would even be okay with they did early antes.
