I think there is something to learn from having played so many freerolls
I think early all ins are so common, that taking even a small 10-15% edge is a very good move. For instance, A-7off going all in over an obvious shoving all in with nothing bet is ESSENTIAL to having more freedom late tournament.
I think this applies to freerolls, rebuys, and especially bounties.
I think being able to tell if it's obvious is easier when watching a couple hands first, seeing who the LAG/Donk player(s) are, then taking the first edge you have against them.
Hands like:
A2-A5, A7-Ak KQ KJs
55-up
Maybe K-10?
Also the theory of having one tech hand in the bunch, like 98s, to sway the variance a little -- as in playing more hands so decreasing variance over long run by weeding out the varying variable of chance.
