Data: Was short stacked last hour...I played tight as hell cuz the last hour i played medium hole cards and missed every time!! Until I had to all-in short-stacked with a flush draw and made it...Keep in mind this is the largest tourney I have played in (I won my way in through satelites). 9th place (last pay level) was $120 which is huge to a micro player. I had between $11k and $4k the last hour or so and nothing was hitting! I watched rabbits etc....These were my last hands… starting with$8k Blinds: $800, $400 6 7s,
10 2, 6 10 off, A6 off, Ac9h off Flop: 8q6 all diams 6 turn.
10 10 (my best hand in an hour – flop is 46A 2 hearts raisedup $1,600 I’m glad I folded pf. My guess is ace was held.– but this may be my only pf mistake.)
104 off, J8s, J10 off,
44 UTG +1 folded. Some may play this but I was getting shorstackedand at about 15th place.
K10 off folded flop (552) raiser of $3600
J3s, 79off,
I have A2s but all-in raise in front of me… argghhh
Q5 off, K5 off, 97, J10 off, K7s, J7, 49 off
AA dblled up!!!
A10 folded to AQ, JJ – gd fold!
39 off, 8 10 s, 6 10, 97 off, Q3s, 103 off, 67s,
Last hand $4k left UTG before $1,200, $600 blinds hit me: KJ off all-in and I lose to K 10!!! River str8!!!!
Could I have played any better? Had a $90k stack at my table and a $20 k going all-in all the time.

BTW: I took 10th out of like 76 or so I think. 1st was paid out: $1,337.60. I feel gd I outplayed 67 people but sheetty I couldnt get one more hand to connect - next guy had $7,900 in chips so all i needed was one stinkin hand to make $120. off a free sattelite entry!

Kind of hard for me to decipher the way you are relaying the hand history, so I won't give any opinion on whether I think you could have played better or not, but if it's any consolation I bubbled the sunday 125k at merge on a freeroll entry and goodness did it feel terrible.

P.S. I have been running very hot ever since though, I hope you do too!

You folded way too many hands you should have shoved with that short stack. Not gonna break it down the way you gave the info above gives me a headache but with your stack you are shoving most of your hands pre-flop - not all but most.

Yah, as already mentioned it's next to impossible to give you any solid advice re: hands because you haven't given us much to go from here 'BUT' when I see something like "KTo flop XXX I fold" it makes me wonder > "how big was our stack pre.. how did we get to seeing a flop? .. what position were we in on the table & what was the preflop action???
Another that has me questioning > (not verbatum) .. something along the lines of "I rabbitted & everything & "would've lost" (or 'not hit'). when that means very little. What's important is > are we making the correct decisions at any given moment in time (not based on the result of how the cards fell 'after the fact').
ie. I can't imagine not getting it in with the TT hand (although again I don't really know the specifics of the hand).

Sucks to be bubble boy for sure though :(

Sorry i dont have hand hstory copy paste thingy down yet. My thought was just wait to get AA KK QQ JJ and shove - but after 50 hands and nothing. I waited for a weak spot with 10 10 lets say - but they were all raising. When I watched the rabbits to see what they had - i was always beat. My reads were solid. My last hand that would have put me in the money was KJ. a K 10 hit a str8 on river . I think I playe it as well as I could - remember all those shoves aorund me would have resulted in me cashing as well. So I have two ways to cash.

You shouldnt put yourself in a situation though where you will get blinded out if you dont all in almost every 5 hands.

Can't wait for premiums all the time, had to pick up blinds with marginal hands in good spots, a lot of people will not call you off with a damaging stack on the bubble. But if it's 3x bb or less, why not?

Thanks - that seems standard - my only other thought was how tight to be when chips are flying everywhere - people were busting out quite quick. There were 2 other stacks about at my level that dbld up but could have busted with marginal hands. I decided to sit back and letem play their 60%/40% hands. I beleive I ultimatley got my cards in with the best hand - and simply loist but yeah - I wasnt going to get anyone to fold to my meager all in with 3xBB left. If my goal was to place in top 3 I would have went all in lot more - and earlier - but I just wanted last place LOL.

Agree with this. Especially since on the final table bubble it is only 5 handed, it is impossible to keep folding and just pray that somebody else busts.
