It doesn't hurt as much, as missing a big payjump at a FT.
I do not keep track of moments of being bubbleboy.
If I remember well I bubbled a satellite for the Sunday Million once (worth $215).
Still won some of the remaining money though.

I havent been a bubble player in huge mtt's for a while now.

I used to try and time out in order to make that min cash, once upon a time, but the way you should be playing now should not allow you to ever be a bubble boy.

By the time your at the bubble you must have plenty of chips or already be out of the tourny. If you find yourself struggling to survive at the bubble, u must not be playing right.

I was bubble boy several times. I play tournament: freerolls, 0,25$, 0,5$, 1$ and 1,5$. I know it is nothing special, but it always hurts me.

I don´t remember when was the last time I was a bubbleboy. I try to keep playing solid poker in the bubble, I would go all in (or call all in) just with AA or KK preflop. It just dont worth the risk after several hours of gameplay. :D

I was a bubble boy a several times... my biggest bubble position hurts me because I played a tourney and 64 players get paid, I went all in at AA, dropped out 65-th position and the 64 player gets 45 dollars... this was my worst bubble position....

been bubble boy many times, but never remember them. Being bubble for FT is far worse, But i play for top 5, you have to make top 5's to be profitable tournament player. (unless you are playing 5k plus fields then FT will due

^THIS. The only way you should be short-stacked is if you took a painful gashing of the chips right near the bubble. Otherwise, you're probably just being a nit and getting blinded out.

I don't remember when I was last on the bubble, but recently I knocked a guy out of a satellite on the bubble and it was his 2nd week in a row being bubbled in that same satellite.

Haven't bubbled in some time, but i once bubbled when I shoved AK and was called by 36o. I was in second at the time and one spot away from the final table. I don't remember the payouts but it probably wasn't much.
