card dead at final table i have managed to maintain my stack but not increase it.there were only 35 players entered and only the top 3 get paid.the players to my right and left have equal stacks and the fourth has about half that. the player to my right has been pushing often and my hope was that i would pick up a hand to collect his chips before he had enough to hurt me if he suked out. however now his stack is equal to mine and he pushes once again to my QQ in the small blind and still on bubble. I am mostly sure at this point the Qs are good but also pretty sure he is holding at least Ax. What would you do?

Shove, not close.

Also shove wider you nit. If he's raising every hand he has to have complete junk most of the time so his raise amounts to donating dead money.

It is important to list player's stack sizes in relation to the blinds. (along with payout structure).

Shove. If you lose call it "unlucky" your crushing his shove range. the main goal in tournaments is to win or at least get top 3 since this is where all the money is at and not just getting into the cash.

You kinda got to think if I bubble I bubble but calling his wide range shove with QQ is not only the right play but its a play that will put you in better position to win the tournament.

I think in that position I would call, you are only behind to two hands and he has probably been shoving light most of the time.

I think you should build up your priorities. What's most important for you- to win or to cash? It's a good hand against a player raising all the time. I would have shoved either way!

Simple call here.

You both have equal stacks, ok, thats cool, but how many BBs do you both have? When he was shoving did he ever get called, did you ever get to see a hand he shoved?

What was the buy in? There are too many statistics untold here to make a decision. Although, a call is almost always right with the information you have given us!

Last four tournaments I bubbled each one. However my play was +ev each time and I will continue playing the same way.
If you reach the final table in bad shape the rewards are usually low, my decision revolves around top five finishes or bust out and start a new tournament.Thinking bubble impedes my top 5 finishes. One of these finishes usually makes up for bubbling tenfold.

No brainer. You have to go in with the premium hand. Now if 7 get paid or 8 or 9, I would possibly fold. Only 3 winners this game requires a shove in this situation.

So did he even have an Ax, or was he as we would expect weaker?

Can't do that if he already shoved, so OP has to wait for the QQ and hope the randoms don't suck out.
Even if it were only a raise, shoving against it weak is not a good move as this is probably the type of player that would call with any two and his two weak cards could be stronger than your two weak cards.
Though in general yeah, don't be a nit and don't let yourself be bullied, pick your spots to fight back, and QQ is a top of the range fighting hand.

Next time try to show the statisics and stack size, blinds. ;)

Based on this info I would call. Most of the time you are ahead, lil chance of AA/KK.

At some point you just have to move,if you sit around and wait on something more premium than that then you are just gonna get killed by the blinds and have to make another desion real soon with not such premium hand.
you have to go with it and hope for it
