Douglas Zimmermann's Main Event Champion Light Turbo and confirms good phase Christmas

In the outcome of the BSOP Christmas, the player Douglas Zimmermann has achieved a feat in parallel tournaments. Regular was the winner of the Main Event Light Turbo for the second time in his career. He had spiked the tournament in São Paulo last year. With the title, Douglas took home R $ 48,030 and another trophy to the shelf.

Douglas lives a big stage in recent months. He was the runner-up Omaha in the fifth stage of the circuit and was fourth in the Main Event the next step. In the very BSOP Christmas, he reached the final table of Omaha as the chip leader, but made a mistake and ended up finishing sixth. Redemption came on the last day of the tournament.

"The beginning of 2016 was very tough for me. It was a period of adaptation and learning. From the middle of the year here, things started to happen, the game began to fit and the results are coming. In Omaha I could have gone further, have reached at least 3-handed, but I messed up a hand that hurt a lot. Now I did everything right and I got where I wanted, "said the champion.

The Main Event Light had 209 subscribers and the final table was attended by important names. Featured in the Northeast, the Aryan Ouriques player was the bubble of trophies. The ace Eder Campana added another FT curriculum and Kadu Campion, Omaha champion in São Paulo, came away again and finished in third place. In the heads-up, Douglas had the patience to beat the player Nego Borges.

"I was right the Eder and Kadu and despite having the largest stack, everyone was like, then an error would cost the tournament life. When Eder got the first fold and equaled Kadu's stack was more difficult to play because I knew they were going to press. I had to increase the size of the raises to take them pre-flop and play against the shorts, "Douglas said, pointing to a difficult table.

After Kadu be eliminated by Nego Borges third, the heads-up lasted just over half an hour. After the players see the board K48, both were all-in and the 44 Douglas won the KQ of Nego as the turn and river did not change the situation.
