Hey guys, my BR is really small right now, not safe to play even the DD so I'm grinding the .25 + .5 satellites to the DD and pocketing the buy in. I was just wondering if anyone has good strategies for the ten cent rebuy on full tilt, I have only played it once recently and I got out when my opponent beat my trips by getting a full boat on the turn. I think its a good way to get back into the MTT fields cheaply without risking a lot of my BR, it also fits into my college time schedule, which it didn't last semester. I know its an unlimited rebuy with one add on, but i dont really have the roll for that and I don't like rebuying anyways, i figured you guys might have some ideas how to play this tournament... cuz u know you guys are geniuses and all and im just a lowly freeroller :D.

Any help will be welcome!

Do not rebuy - but since you don't like it stick to it :icon_thum.

It's a very long tourney and because of the big field you might need a few attempts.

I'd rather stay at the 0.25$ you are playing maybe add a table or two.

But if you like playing 5+ hours go for it.:thrasher:

In 5 hours you can play about 27 sats to the DD with lower variance.

I'd 4-table them If you're used to that too.

Played a few of them but never made the itm. Quite a big field to go through, but if you make it too the last couple of tables it would be a nice payout.GL

Not used to multitabling. Might try two at a time max for now.

id play tight and aggressive, that is how i usually play in tourneys with a lot of donks. Usually when you get a hand, you will get maximum value because it seems like people try to bluff you every hand or push with third pair

double up

you have to try and double up early on because the blinds go up very quickly and you only start with 1000 chips and before you know it you will be down to 10 big blinds.

I've won that tourney once and made another 2 20ish finishes.
In the begining u can double up quickly cause the bad players are all over...and always make the add on...
Anyway if u don't get to unlucky u have big chances in making FT even if there are 3600 players

Im free roller for right now to.You have patience galor! If you play like most of the people on there i see, you wont last. Im proud to say that i have won the USA 250$ dollar freeroll twice now and also took an 8th place but when i play in any cash tables or tourneys i get sucked out on all day long and loose the winnings playing 5 dollar and bigger games. Im still tryin to make that big money online. Keep at your game and sooner or later a good poker player will win the game. GL on the tables.

Takes like 3 hours to get to the money, and payouts are like $1.50.

Well some days I can deal with the players at the ten cent full tilt re-buy and some days I cannot, when I cannot it is only ten cents ! When I can it is still only ten cents !

I think this is a great game when you compare it to a standard Ft freeroll !
plus $0.10 is not a lot to gamble with.

Yeah I have made the final table 2 times. I suggest just playing TAG and BET FOR VALUE when you get a hand, as YES there are A LOT of bluffs and weak hands going to showdown. I see some people try to double up quickly and whatnot, by playing LAG, and I have tried that but always seem to do way better if I just play TAG. I usually like to pay .60c for 2k chips to start with, and .50c for the addon. I feel that if you can rebuy you should, even if you have a big stack at the addon period. But I have also only payed the .10c and played without rebuys, which can be a good mtt to play if you have a small bankroll. It is a lot like a freeroll, and have seen some real fishy players at the final table, so anything can happen. GL!

Whats your suggestion for middle of the tourney play, thats where I seem to go out, when there are like 1500 people left.

Not sure what's wrong, but I don't see this tourney at FT.
Probably have to search little bit more for it.
Anyway, thanks for your reply.

I just stay tight, and depending on how they are playing on my table, try to steal if I can. The thing is that this tourney has these players who are like land mines, who you usually make chips off of, but they can get lucky just as quick. I had someone call my 3bet shove once with 57s for like way too many chips and bust me in 1 hand I had AKs, and was right outside the money. So what I have heard, and it seems to work pretty well, is to just stay away from anyone with bigger stacks. That way if you do lose the hand, you are not busted out of the tournament. I mean of course your not gonna fold AA/KK to a big stack, but I try to avoid putting myself in a situation for my tournament life unless I have to. Anything can happen on the flop, and I hate spending the last 4 hours and in 1 hand busting to some suck out.
And just play around with it to see what works for you.

Thanks for that info. Have registered for it.
But, am not sure why I cannot see it in the FT without searching for tourney ID.

Anyway, wish me luck, cause I really need some $$ on FT, after cashout two weeks ago just went south and am low on $$$$.
