Bounty and timelimit tournaments

Hello, I'm new to cardschat and I really couldn't find anywhere something about these kind of tournoments (knockout bounty and time limits). What's your opinion about them? Are they profitable and can you give me some strategies. Thanks in advance!

I have played some bounty tournaments and they can be fun. You have to be prepared for callers when you shove - everyone wants those bounties. I am definitely not an expert on them though - maybe someone else can advise you on a good strategy.

Bounty tournements are great. I wouldn't alter my overall strategy in them though. Perhaps if you are really big stacked and see a chance to take a small amount of additional risk for a KO then do so but for the most part don't think in terms of KO's because if you run deep in the money the KO's will usually follow along.

Time tournoments last for a set amount of time (15,30,60 mins) and when the running time expires, finishing positions and prizes are awarded based on stack size.

The "time tourneys" on Stars end after 15 or 30 mins and your prize will be your exact share of the chips pool. The prize will not be very high. You should play such time tourneys like a cash game. A short pleasure, the rake (fee) is too high for it

Welcome to CC, the bounty tournaments are alot of fun if you're really lucky. The all-in bet bet puts dollar signs in the other players eyes. Go all in with the nuts. I have had the most success with just playing the normal MTT style. If you go deep into the tourney you will collect a couple of bounties along the way. Good luck!
