Personally on a flop such as this I would not have raised in the first place. One thing I have learned that in Poker any cards are possible at any time, and although statistics say he didnt have that 8 and 9, experience shows me the possibility was there. So with that possibility, I would have called his raise and saw what he did on the turn, and given that he would have most likely went all in due to zero possiblities before the river six of a better hand, I would have folded. Two pair although usually a great flop hand really has zero standing with an open sided straight draw. Sometimes we try to talk ourselves into believing the odds
are to great for him to have that 8 and 9, but we are lying to ourselves. I am a very passive player, but am successful in being so, it seems anytime I'm knocked out of tourneys is during hands like this when I get too confident.
