Has anyone played these. I was tempted to sign up but did not really have the time to play, but I was in awe at the (not sure how to word this) fishyness/loosness/incompetance/tastyness of the play.

People 3 and 4 betting pre flop with Ace-Rag and then snap calling a shove post flop with just the Ace high.

Other tables was like watching a limit game. Only raises happening were min raise. Watched one hand get 6 bet with only min raises.

I know I will be playing these in future.

had Kc Ks earlier playin 3+.30 $1000 guaranteed,

Flop: 9d 6d 2c

since there was big betting pre flop and I had abou 25 BB to start the hand I shove flop. He snap calls with Ah Jd

Turn: 10d
River: Qd

this seems to happen much more on this site then live poker regardless of how many more hands you play online, still seems like the ratio is off...

What's with the player names? I thought it was just because I was on the rail but I read they are not showing players names any more.

lol, bodog is a joke

I appreciate the time and thought you put into your reply. Very helpful.

I used to play their beginner SNG (paid top 5) to build up some bankroll. Have not been on the site for quite a few months and they no longer have those games so I thought I would look at what else they had.

If there are some valid reasons for why someone should not play on Bodog then I would love to hear them.

to sum it up,
no note taking sucks,
annon players suck
traffic sucks

sum it up?

Dugg's post sums up the reasoning for my post. If you want to literally JUST play the cards and not the player(bad poker) then go ahead and play on Bodog/Bovada whatever. If you want to play real poker, go Merge or Cake if you're in the US.

Yea, I wish that they would make everyone in live MTTs wear random masks and they couldn't wear the same one to the next MTT they play in... that way it's completely fair to everyone who doesn't know how to locate faults in people's play. Essentially what Bovada is.

Thanks for the replies. I agree with the low traffic, however I was always able to get a game.

To be honest, I don't really like the site but it is the only one I have any money on. My ex wife stumbled across an ad somewhere on the internet and opened an account for me and put some money in it. I have increased it slowly from $50 to just over $300. I would pull it out and play somewhere else but the withdrawl method seems complicated. Something to do with skrill/Moneybookers because that was how the money was deposited.

I don't live in the US and if I was to move it would be either pokerstars or Full Tilt. I'm not going to ask which is better because I'm guessing it's like asking if beef tastes better than lamb.

I don't think I play enough at the moment to care about who I'm playing against. Player0032 is the same to me as GonnaDonkYourAss44 or any other player.

I think you should definitely try to move it to Full Tilt.

If this was the method used for deposit, it should be very easy to withdraw then. (fwiw, I found Bodog to be the easiest site to withdraw funds from)

I think it'd be more like asking a hungry meat-eater if steak tastes better than air.
