Is this satellite worth the time and points? It seems like it would be an all-in fest, but I haven't played in one yet as I use my points to buy tickets to other tourneys.

The freeroll qualifier seems like its not really worth the time and points(25 points for qualifying ticket and only top 15 advance out of 170). You might as well just buy an entry ticket into the actual 5000 points freeroll for 1000 points.

Bi the qualifier only for 200 points or 2 bucks and instead of paying ten its basically a double

Considering its a turbo so not much time wasted, can't see how this is right lol. 25 pts for the qualifier, 1000 pts for the actual event. That gives you up to 40 tries before you break even on the deal. If you can't win 1 in 40, then sure you shouldn't try it, but you also shouldn't be playing for any amount.

40 attempts is a pretty good deal as opposed to straight out 1k pts, also not sure where they got the 15 in 170 from unless they have been eyeing it when it runs but this can have up to 1500 people. If its only getting 170 then wow bovada has a hell of an overlay in that regarding the fact they are only taking in 4250pts but giving out tickets worth 15k pts????

It is certainly well worth the pt investment if its actually only getting 170 ppl, don't suppose its the non turbo getting 170 because that one is a 200pt ticket in which case they are making a killing raking in 19k pts more than they give out :D

Whag are you talking about the 200 pt one only has about 30 or 40 people and is a non turbo which means its not a total luck fest lol and its just worth it 40 attempts is a lot of time waisted imo when u can do two or three

Most of the points in my post, if that's what your referring to were essentially prodding questions:
1. how can you say 15 in 170 when the tourny can have up to 1500 max entrants, my question essentially was: Have you been seeing how many entrants they have been getting when they run?

2. Because 15 in 170 @ 25pts per entry amounts to only 4250pts when bovada is giving out 15 tickets each worth 1000pts then how is it not worth it when it has such a huge overlay?

3. Was thinking perhaps it might have been the non-turbo, however you have indicated the non-turbo only gets 30-40 ppl? Do you know this from seeing on average I guess how many entrants it has after late reg has completed? If so this is still a big overlay to give out 15 tickets but either way it only has 1/4 the entrants for 8x the pts and although it is non-turbo vs turbo I'd go for 8 chances vs 1 chance considering entrants will be put out of the turbo much quicker. Just my thought.

Turbo's are not a total luck fest, just a slightly different approach because you get less hands in per blind level and reach a shortstack strategy applicable situation at an earlier period of the tourny. Great practice for an end game in MTT IMO.

Well it might be worth it if uve got like nothing to do wjth your time but I dont want to go 40 times without getting a ticket its just not worth my time consideribg each turbo tourney can take uo to about 4 hours and the non turbo is half the time but even in the non turbo youve got 1 in 5 chabces to break even and since its pretty much a mtt double uo your oretty much payibg less than 400 a ticket
