Hi, i'm playing some freerolls and low buyins game, occasionally i have troubles with any callstation, some times I flop a big pair or high, and a try to get a maximum of chips, some player pay with any two cards until the river, It cost-me some tournament.

There's other players playing low pairs and flopped a set, but i cant make a good reading and lost many or all of my chips, I can't put them in a three of a kind.

Some times I has thinking: seems the villains knows the cards, and pay cause will win

I have read some texts, make notes, seeing videos but play with some players is like play bingo, i prefer fold until get good hands, but it can make me sort by the blinds, close to the bubble a some players goes allin with any two, i have lost some times with good hands like JJ,QQ,KK or AA.

How you play with these guys, there any strategy more effective?
How i can improve my board reading?

I will post some hands to show my progress, i know the best decision is more important of the some bad beat, i will win more times if don't make mistakes, some times my reading is good, but the size bet and others facts don't are sufficient for win the pot, and the river is cruel.

Hi elizeuof! Very well structured and nicely addressed question :)
I am not a professional, but we all facing this when playing. As far as my experience says, you should not count so much on winning hand with only a pair hitting on flop, even if it is top pair. For high card, forget. I see so many players chasing flush or straight. There are also many limpers, or those nitty players minraising with AA or KK. So far, I do not have a medicine about these. You should hold your good hands (two pairs, set and draws) until the river, I think - versus such Calling Stations. And also, you have to foreseen that you will loose some of them.
One recent hand I suffered, really freaky guy - can not realize the motives to stay in hand from his side but he won it in the end: https://www.boomplayer.com/25861476_6CD59AC123

Thankyou,

The hand you played resume so well

I has played at partypoker, in the HJ with KTo I call the villain's raise of 2BB in mid position, in the flop comes K84, the same villain move allin with 11BB, I call, in the turn appears a A, in the river 9, the villain win with A8, he had a mid par in flop, and go allin.

Long Run

As long as you play for the long run you should be good. Are you putting them on a range or one specific hand?

If you get to much action from top pair you are probably running into a set.

Generally i can put them in high cards and top pairs. In the flop I can put them in some draw.

I am playing with more atention of too more action of the villains.

If the villain in last position make a bet, when I have good cards I make a big raise, because generally they play more hands, and I can put they in a range with their action after this.

I am studing to improve my reading, I will play about 70 ou 80 percent and will study 20 or 30

I'm faced with the same problem as you are. I try to come in such cases only on the strong hands and if nothing falls beyond the flop do not climb, because someone loves to answer))
