In a live small stakes tourney I was in the big blind with 6-something. Few limpers, so I check Flop comes out 77x. At this point I am convinced I have a 7. I play the hand all the way to showdown as trips, flip it over, realize how dumb I am and ship over half my stack.

While not my dumbest move ever, today at a face-to-face tournament I was sitting pretty with about 100 BBs. I was BB so I was playing 97o since no one raised preflop. The I miss the low flop, but have an over card (the 9 of course). 3 hearts on the board and no one bets. The turn is a dud and no one bets again. I decide if a flush hits I'm going to bluff because no one is betting like they have a draw or anything. So the 9 of hearts hits the river and I figure I'm going to bluff so when it comes to me I snap go all-in to make it look like I was waiting for it. I got called by the King of hearts and wanted to cry for making such a stupid all-in play.

Hello.
In my case, this is probably A, 10. I regularly make false decisions with such cards.

From technical view, when I returned from the brake seconds later and I missed aces who were folded! In game 1-2 times did not play cards that developed to straight flush!

This may not be my biggest mistakes, but something i have done to many times. The first one is that i miss a raise from early position. Then it looks like limp(s) from mid position and I raise to isolate. Another thing I have done more than once is misread my A4 for pockett Aces. It can get costly before you realize your mistake. I once played this hand to the river in live play, beliving I had AA. Didnt turn out to good.

I used to play MTT only and made several unnecessary all in errors when started to play cash game.

1. £1/2 live, HJ (LAG) raised £12, BU called, SB (Hero) reraised with QQ to £60, BB called, HJ reraised to £200, BU folded, I jammed with £350 stack. BB folded. HJ thought for a while and called my preflop shove with KK

2. £1/2 live, UTG limped, 6 players called. BB (hero) checked with 6s2s, flop is like 7sQs4s, I checked , UTG bet 50% pot, all others folded, I called. Turn is a brick, I checked, UTG bet 50% pot again and I jammed, and he snap called with A high flush

i do mistakes all the time when hurrying up, like calling instead of folding, or betting the wrong amount.

Well

Well, My worst miss play was when I thought I had two spades as my hole cards and believed I made a flush. When I flipped them over one was a spade and the other was a club. The whole table laughed as did I.

Usually a misclick, a call when I meant to check, or a check when I meant to call.

I feel your pain, there was a tournament I was walking back to after break, 1st hand AA in a 3bet pot with a big stack making the 3-bet, I rushed to my computer only to hit call as the timer was about to run out. Dude had probably had AK/AQ or something because the board was dry and he didn't even make a C-bet, didn't even get paid on the river I was so disappointed.

My biggest misplay was probably when I folded flopped quads...
That’s how I learned that playing more than 3 pot limit Omaha tables at the same time is not the best idea in my case....

I probably have many mis-plays when I find myself on tilt…….. lol
But I will give you a prime example of a HUGE mis-play two days ago.
I was in a heads up match and I was dealt a small/mid suited hand of diamonds and my opponent was dealt a higher mid suited hand of clubs.
The flop was dealt with three diamonds, which dealt me a flush, while it also handed my opponent the nut straight.

The call was on me and I checked to show weakness and then my opponent decided to take advantage of his made straight and raised me; I then turned around and shoved for all my chips trying to show that I was weak and trying to steal the pot.

The mis-play came when my opponent took less than 2 seconds and calls my shove ……… HUGE MISTAKE !

Early in my playing days I was dealt QQ and I made the 4th raise preflop against a table full of the tightest players I have ever played against. I proudly rolled over my hand and I was in 3rd place. The guy with KK was lamenting his call stating, "I knew that tight ass had to have AA," and shaking his head at my play, lol

I was in a freeroll the other night, built up to about 3rd place, had to go to the store, so sat out for about 45 min. Came back, won two big hands. Then lost track of how many people were left. I could have easily sat out until I was in the money, instead finished 16th.
