sure why not take a shot if you lose make some more money back at the lower levels until you can take a shot once more!

ask yourself the question "how will i feel if i lose 250?"
if the answer is a bad one then maybe dont try it but if the answer is a good one go for it.
otherwise you could continue to play your normal games and whatever you may profit from these put that money to one side and once you hit 250 give the big game a crack, if you lose oh well go back to the local games and continue to do well in them and go back to the big buy in again........ surely if you are able to do that eventually you'll have a good run in the 250 buy in :-)
whatever you decide good luck

Just remember one thing MTTs had the highest variances of them all,so unless you got something like 100 Buy-in be prepared for the worst outcome. My suggestion is better find some backers if you wont able to afford it.

think the best way to look at this is "are you rolled for $250 buyins?"
people talk about having100 or 200 buyins- so if you are not rolled for that level, will losing $250 impact you?

u have to move up sometime...i dont if jumping to 250 is the best idea...maybe 150 is better...but like everyone said if u dont mind spending it then go for it
