JTs is about a 58% favorite against any random hand. But if SB is shoving there, he probably has better than a random hand.

Well it also depends on how much is in the middle. More than likely if antes are involved you'd only have to be ahead of 35-40% of his range to make the hand profitable. Given this info and depending on the opponent, one could fairly argue that it is indeed a profitable shove.

Asking about a specific hand in an unknown tournament against an unknown player without providing reads, stack sizes, tournament structure, payouts, or any other information is not going to help you or anyone else learn anything as the only real answer anyone can give is "it depends".

If you want help with a specific hand post it in the hand analysis forum with as much information you can possibly give so people can get a feel for what was happening at the time of the hand and can give specific advice.

Looking at the question you have asked here it looks like you would like a general guide as to how wide you can be calling in the big blind against a small blind shove of 10 bbs. Take a look at this video on Drag the Bar, it goes through a few different scenarios with SB shoving into BB and when to call. http://www.dragthebar.com/poker-videos/viewer.php?v=212afd6152b8d03d9267df4f2d7821bc

This was deep in the 3.30 rebuy on stars the sb was aggressive b v b I'd already shoved on him twice we where just in the money but I think it's irrelevant if it's an hour in or 40 out

So what do you think your best option was after watching the video?

Just fold. Most of the time, you are underdog.

The only scenario we might call is when you mark him a maniac.

It depends how much is in the middle and what the sb has been shoving with. If the sb knows you are a nit player they will shove with any two cards and take the blinds and the antes. I'd say it is situational but I'd probably call if they are shoving into me all the time.
