The Big Bang 5000 $ guaranteed

As I were killing time playing poker on stars I had a look in registrated games.

Out of nowere i had a registration in a 10+1 $ tournament

I find out it was a reward for playing well in the Open Skill League last month.

No unreg possible. Sattelites tournaments with 10 guarentied seats costs 70 FPP.

What kind of players can I expect in this tournament 727 seats is gifts to Open Skill Players and 50 players from satellite. 777 players totally.

Your going to find skill levels of all kinds tbh, played it a few times and there are some supernovas that play in it. its a great game and great value as usually gets almost 800 people or something if I recall the last one I played.

But essentially to answer your question there will be players of all shapes sizes and levels in the game.8

I've played it a few times.

I'm not sure how you arrive at your numbers? (727 seats is gifts? Is this because there's that many pre-reg'd. to it right now already? If so, what about all the players who've already won an entry via satellite?).
And your estimate of '50 from satellite'? I would think this is way off too as there are 20 players per day winning an entry from the satellites as they run twice per day 'but' no doubt alot of those players have already won an entry already & are collecting T$'s for subsequent wins.

As far as how it plays out. As Bluffme already stated, there's a mix of players in it. imo it's a pretty weak field with lots of bad players in it. I managed to final table it last month with a field of 907 entrants but I don't recall cashing in it for much prior to that. Those satellites are great value though (probably won alot more from them then I have in the actual tournament).

The number of players is based on 5 satellites that I can see on pokerstars.

If it runs two times every day 2×30×10 = 600 players from sat and less then 200 from open gifts.

That makes it all much thougher as most of the field played sat with buyin 70 FPP.

not sure if i'll be playing or not, was only playing a small amount of poker for about 3 weeks over the past month or so and the satty wasn't in that schedule and then slipped my mind so tried last night but JJ ran into QQ ... we both tried to crush a fish it seems with a limp and he raised i shoved qq called and fish called, fish won with 85 hitting a straight on river lol.

Will give it a shot tonight and hopefully get in there as its a great game, I have enjoyed it the last couple of times i played. Good Luck to you.

This isn't an accurate estimation because (as I had mentioned above) you will see ALOT of the same players playing in those satellites (meaning, there might only be 200 entrants who won their ticket via that 70 fpp satty). Quite a few players in that satty will play it again & again even after they've won their entry as they'll be awarded with $11 tourney dollars instead of the ticket & that satty has excellent value to use fpp's on. Also, those 70fpp satties don't run 30days out of the month (they don't run for ~1wk. after the BigBang tourney so it's probably closer to 3wks. or 21days x 2).

Regardless of how many make it in via the satty... the players from those satellites are a real mix (many of them are NOT good at all).

By the way I find out that 3 times top 400 consecutive will give you a free ticket if you are member of the ps-pokerschool.

Sad I made 2 top 400 in a row yesterday and then a trash tournament.

I did it worse played all in with pair of kings in pocket and was called by AKo somewhere near the bobble.

What happen? A little Ace make it the way on the table.
