The Big Series tourneys are standard ones with 10 min blinds
How you enter and play depends on ones own adaptation to game
Being a micro tourney with loads of field , the obvious and decent prize would be in reaching Final table :)
So the Question of when it is better to enter absolutely depends on ones patience and focus on playing game

If u have patience and would like to start with lot of BB to play with then its better to enter from start and try to accumulate stack
If u are player who dont like playing with small blind levels , then its better to start after 1 hour
or you are player who is very versed with Shove/Call ranges and would like a shortcut to Itm because of huge field then its better to enter before 20 min
and gamble with any decent Ev+ hand and play

The Big 0.55 buyin tourney is decent one with around 60% decent players and 40% fish , it normally gets a field of 6500 under
and another thing is after 2 hours from the moment tourney starts the field gets reduced to 2000 where ITM starts from 1000 places

Tip : IF u enter after 2 hours and successfully able to gamble with good hand & double up , u will definitely reach ITM

The strategy part is same regardless of tourney : -
Early : - Play Tight
Middle : - Loosen up a bit and try to win some pots
Late : - If u have reached Itm , try to be aggressive and keep accumulating stack till u reach Final Table

Play from beginning. Be very cautious early play premiums very aggressive and look to take as many cheap flops as possible with small pocket pairs and suited connectors.
Once registration closes you can resort to normal play. Try not to slow play monster hands you get paid off in these tournaments from very suspect hands a lot.
Good Luck.

I can't stand this late registration stuff. I'd like to see more freezeouts with no rebuys and late reg. I would never start late - a lot of the fish will get caught and bust out early, you don't want to miss the opportunity to find them.

Late reg is very bad for making decent stack and also it cause big variance since you are forced to play push-fold with your starting stack very soon. If you are winning player ( evbb/100>0) your average profit is calculated as amount of hands you played*your winrate. That being said, the less hands you play, the fewer your stack will be. The fewer your stack is the fewer your chances to win tournament. So, I highly recommend not to use this late reg thing, try to register from the early beginning.

Hello guys,

My opinion about The Big 0.55 $ is that it is a tournament of a lot of players, around 5000, on average, but with many weak players, that in little more than an hour already has at least half of the Enrolled I like this tournament for the low buy-in and a considerable amount for the final table participants.
It's okay to enter.

Who likes this type of tournament and is already accustomed to participate in it, leave your comment.

And as always, we find ourselves at the table and it's all in the cloth !!!

You start with 5000 chips after 1hour blinds are 50/100 so i think I can manage to get itm if i register 1 hour after tourney starts cuz 5000 chips is ok stack when the blinds are 50/100

Play from the start and try build a decent stack but watch as alot of players just don't care and are looking to just quickly double up with any2 since it's only a micro tournie and they seem to get lucky alot of the time, i thought the blinds in the hot where only 5mins rather than 10 so late reg can cost you when others have a built a stack by the time you get there with blinds rising. I find these games to be just pot luck most times. GL :)

I think Tech101205 gave you a very good view of this tourney.

I play it in 2 directions...
The fishy way: I play from the beginning trying to hook a fish. I play almost every connectors every suited faces and pocket pairs. Here the secret is to see flop as cheap as possible and don't be afraid to throw barrels when you get 2pairs+ Bet every street even with set, you will be paid. Go preflop all in with QQ+ they will pay you.... This is why 2/3 are busted 1 level after the registration is closed.

The other direction is really late reg with about 20bb, you need 2 double up and you running deep. The first double up comes relatively easy because the large stacks will be happy to gamble their average hands.

In general don't be afraid to lose value by going all-in with 2pairs+ you will be surprised what kind of calls you get... And of course get ready for some hilarious suck outs 😂😂

no, play from the beginning if possible. the level of play isnt that good and you can make a big stack early in the tournament, and that will give you a big advantage in middle and late stages of the tournament.

Ship first 10 hands, then be mega tight for 44 hands... then normal tight for 2 hands, then change your style and become Tom Ivey.

I prefer playing from the start instead of late with all in or nothing mentality. You can see some flops earlier on because of the 5000 starting stack.

So i should play from begging and i should play tight/agressive? And be very aggressive in preflop with good starting hands but also play in late position

Play only good hands. Do not bluff at the very beginning. Do not play with a strong opponents.

I usually like to enter a tournament at the beginning, but in the big 0,55 I would consider entering in the last stages of the late registration.

What is starting stack?

Is it a rebuy/add-on or re-entry?

What are blinds at after 1st hour? 2nd hour?

How fast are the blinds?

What is average field size at start? After late reg? What percent of field is ITM?

I late into MTTs all the time with decent success. Maybe I can give some pointers.

Hi people!

This depends directly on your style of play.
If you are a post-flop player who delves into the game and takes advantage, it is best to enter from the beginning.
If you're a push player, you'd better get in with 15, 17 big blinds.
