I was reading Hunter cichys advanced concepts in no limit. A modern approach. He advocated that when we are raised flop with a straight draw or flush draw, to call.this makes sense. If on the turn out draw missed, villian checks, we raise.... im not so sure. If hero raises and villian calls, we miss the river, and he checks, can we afford to double barrel? We need 33% fold equity. I think he was saying that we need to win 33% of the time for a half pot bet, so the 16% equity plus whatever fold equity we have should equal 33%. This makes sense. The question becomes do we have 15% fold equity if villain raises, checks, then checks.

My Opinion

I like this play. You have four cards to royal flush so you chat I'm going for a royal flush and all-in. What if they don't call? What if the call?

Sorry. I may of been confusing. This was for a regular flush OR straight draw. Not both on the same board.
