Ok Im new to the site guys, but Ive been playing BetOnlineFreerolls for about 3 weeks solid now the $100, $200 & sometimes $300. It seems like it is site oriented for them to recover their money with rebuy's at 4000 chips when you only start with 1000....this screws the people that dont want to pay 40c for the all in at beginning of tournament to have a leg up on everyone else.
Also the Addon of 5k is ridiculous after 1st break.Your handcuffing yourself in these i would say 60% of the time if you dont join them in pay to win philsophy....thoughts?
Ive won 3 of these without doing either, but it just seems a waste of the 1st hour if your not gonna rebuy/addon to try and avoid all the luckbox

I play these very often. I do not rebuy and I do not add on. I find the taste of victory so much more savory after beating everyone who wasted money on a freeroll. Especially on Betonline. I would challenge anyone to find more fish in a single place, and not just fish, but just downright absolutely clueless and terrible fish. You are better to save your money for their tournaments which are near as easy, much smaller fields, and more lucrative rewards.

You are right. And you are wrong. As you said yourself, you can win without rebuts or add ons. But, you get a big advantage by using them. So it ends up being a coin flip, which what the whole 1000 entry free roll is anyway.

i've yet to cash in these and i've yet to rebuy or add on. i have seen ppl rebuy at least three times which is redonkulous. i just play them to fill time while waiting for tourneys at other rooms. it would prob be worthwhile if you started with more chips but i guess thats how they make their money

re: Poker & Bet Online FreeRolls
This is how they help finance the prize pools for the freerolls. Thank those that rebuy then take their chips again and again.

in 3 weeks I have entered the $100 freeroll 18 times, the $300 freeroll 5 times, and the $200 freeroll 8 times. (I have a weird schedule so being online at 5am CST is not difficult). Results below. (took 4 hours to win 1st) for $18. No rebuys/Addons. You just have to avoid the bad luck its all flips
$100 - 1st place, 16th place & 37th
$200 - 47th
$300 - Never cashed

10 cent rebuys, adons. lots of freerollers dont have a nickle. Big advantage, i the pay is right of course. Nothing to brag about but hey, early freeroll play is crazy. All-in all over the place. Nice to have a stack so you dont have to enter the madness eventually. You dont always get the best cards you know...

I play on betonline the nooner and I agree with you. I don't like to use re-buy or add on. I try and if I have luck I will get something and if I don't then I sit out the table. I like freezout tourneys the most because they don't last long like tourneys with late reg, re-buy and add on.

When you say 100, are you talking about 100$ gtd prizepool? Because I've yet to see a freeroll at Bet Online that offers 100 for first prize...

I don't bother playing those because they take forever and the prizes are minimal.

It's very useful to play freerolls, I already played a lot of hands in such tournaments and got a lot of experience!
