Hi Guys,

Just looking to compile a list of the best value tournaments people find.
I am looking for tournaments primarily on Stars/888 with low to midtakes buy ins (no larger than $40)

In terms of value can be overlay, soft fields, good structures etc.

Please feel free to post with reasons.

I like to play tournaments on Stars of 3.30 at the weekend, with increasing prize from about 15-30k
In general, there is need to go far enough away that you can to win, but I like it.

you got a bankroll to play $40bi. Id basically stick to $11 and unders and make sure you can really beat those. ANd make sure you are really beating them on paper, not in your mind. But if you can beat these steaks, you could build a nice roll and really start playing the big money games or just stay at that stake and print print print

in PS the hot and the Big are very attractive with a reduced buy-in and a good pot

big and hot / a lot of weak players are playing there. I prefer the structure of the hot, in the big play takes a lot of time. Now is winter series! but I don’t like the number of chips ... starting with 50,000 or 25,000 chips ... and I'm not used to it.if you are going to play at $ 40, then you need a decent Bankroll.

At pokerstars it's all the lowest MTTS on the board. The latest Big 1.10 paid $482 to the winner. 482 times the buy in. The Big 16.50 paid $1007, that's about 62 times the buy in.

You actually make more money relative to your entry fee if you play the smallest games.

I'd say you looking for an overlay. which is where a guaranteed prize amount is not matched by the actual buyins total , leaving a hefty amount of money the site must pay the rest of the prizepool. So say for instance theres a 1,000 gtd for 1$ buyin but only 700 players for a total buying of 700 and the site pays 300
