Hello All,
I just wanted to determine the best strategy for a tourny like this.
With 55 Players registered the potential prize pool breaks down like this;

1st $825
2nd $458
3rd $275
4th $206
5th $160
6th $115
7th $92
8th $68

Each player will be issued $10,000 in chips, there are 20 rounds, each 20 mins in length. There is a 10 min break at the end of each 80 minute session.

Copied directly from the email.

Anywhere I should be taking shots? With so many donks sacrificing their first born with any Ax, pocket 33's or As7d on a 7h3h2h board to a re-reraise, I just want the best strategy. Probably about 10 good players in the bunch!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Shoving donks = high variance.
Overbet your big hands, and hope that you don't get sucked out on.

I've played lots of these, and they all play like turbo sng's. With 20min blinds, you'll probably only see 1 orbit per blind level.

To start, play tight and overly aggressive when you have a great hand. Once it gets to about level 4 or 5 or so, open up and blind steal relentlessly in position.
