Hi cardchatters,

I often read, when you beat your level, then you are ready to level up.
What this means for playing SNG? When do you think, you are ready to
level up? Is there any formular for this, beside of brm tables etc.?

I ask, because, I play certain levels most time in plus, but when levelling up, there hit me the losses. I don't like that of course. :(

How you keep it?

Good luck and success at your tables!

I believe that there are no other worthy methods. You just have to stick with the BRM.
An important point. You must really hit the level hard. If you play just a small plus, then maybe this is your ceiling for today. You need to work on your game before you go any further.
It is also possible that you just need to stop and make your profit at an affordable level. Growth on limits is sometimes a trap for players.

Perhaps it's better to beat your level and make profit every session, than to go higher and play to zero. Moreover, in the room where a weak rakeback and you do not get compensation simply because you play a lot and expensive.

Thanks a lot Andrew for sharing your very interesting point of view.
I never thought about it like that.
Good luck at your tables!

I still would like to hear some more opinions about this.
I am doing good plus in freerolls or some MTTs, but what you think about
levelling up at SNGs?

I often read, when you beat your level, then you are ready to level up.

Completely true.
There's no formula though, if you're feeling good about your play and feel that you would do decent on the higher level, sure go ahead. That said, your BRM & Variance would/should be the prime determinant. You're not leveling up with a shortage of buy-ins ("I was playing a 100 Buy-in, but now I feel I can do better in higher stakes, so I play 50 Buy-ins at higher stakes." SIMPLY, NO! This won't work, and you should know it by now).
