Ok guys, so I've been working on HU and for the most part I seem to be doing well... My biggest problem though Is beating calling stations though, I mean people call down with nothing and it makes it so I can't bluff....

I know I know.... "Just wait for a hand and bet it for value" but what about when I'm whiffing every flop... Blinds are increasing and my opponent is exploiting me clearly, he calls every street and I literally can't win any pots without a hand.... What do I do? I feel like nothing is working when I'm card dead.

Does he call 3 streets postflop when you bet? Or does he just call one or two streets, then you give up and showdown and lose a hand?

I'd suggest jumping off Lock and onto one of the more reliable poker rooms that Cardschat offers here as well (they offer plenty, like America's Room or Black Chip on the Winning Network, Bovada, and I believe Carbon Poker on the Merge Network. Any of those are better choices than Lock, more players and a more trustworthy business to work with).

If you end up playing anywhere except Lock, I'd be happy to look at a 5-10 minute silent video of your play and record my thoughts and post it on this forum (probably in the thread in my sig). Just shoot me a PM if you're interested in that, happy to help. That way we can look a bit more specifically about ways you might be able to improve (very hard to give deep and specific advice without seeing hands).

Good luck.

Thanks for the help Ryan :) much appreciated. I enjoy HU, but I'm really bad I think. I think I'm gonna stick to six max where I am winning

hyper turbos hu are more of a preflop and flop game. i dont think bluffing gives you and edge considering how short stack you are starting the heads up.
its more of a push fold game, raising in the button with a wide range of hands, 3 bet all in, so you wont be pot commited. but i insist that bluffing in this type of stt wont make you a profitable players. the best choice is playing value hands, and folding if you dont hit anything in a flop. bluffs are exception, unless is a c bet after raising preflop, or you sense weakness in villian after the flop.
