I've been trying to move up in stakes from $2.20/$3.30 tournaments to $5.50/$7.70 tournaments. The fields are noticeably smarter. Any advice for performing well and having an edge in these games?

I have noticed that, even at these stakes, there is a lot of limping and loose pre-flop action. I found success this morning by adopting a very tight aggressive style and waiting patiently for good bluff opportunities. (I think I stole on average about 1 nice pot per hour). I've also started making bigger pre-flop raises to punish the loose players.

Does this sound appropriate? Are there any other adjustments that I can make here?

good to start must continue with the same discipline that had to lower limits for the second tenr into account that each higher level Best Available blind players are getting. tenr not mean always throw all the cards and play only with strong hands. ultimately you must continue rigid .

I think that the first thing you need to play by the XM2 statistics and choose people who you'll steal the blinds when your playing style:)
