In general limping with a strong hand such as KK or AA is certainly frowned upon because it allows the possibility of multiway pot where people can see a cheap flop. However, if one were to find themselves late in a tournament when a good deal of the fish have been weeded out might it be a nice play to limp from early position to induce a reraise which you can then either reraise or call?
I feel like a reraise would telegraph what you have and induce a fold. A cold call might put them under the impression you're weak and a strong cbet will push you out. If you do check the flop and they strongly cbet and you reraise you either now take down a larger pot if they fold, or you have them pot committed which is excellent depending on the texture of the board. This can probably only be done once per group of people you're with before they may catch on. Thoughts?
