Hi guys what do you think of my problem?
Example its a big pot on CC freeroll and i have 6 2 and i fold but if i called i would have a straight and won the big pot. Other hand was AK right after 6 2 and i raised and loose everything( i had 5bb)
So what do you think if you get dealth bad cards wich you fold but would win and then i got a good card and i loose.
So i shouldnt play that AK cuz i folded 6 2?

6 2 is a very bad hand,it doesn't matter how many blinds you have,100% fold preflop

Bad cards will win sometimes, but never enough to make playing them profitable. Good hands will win most times vs bad hands and are overall profitable, but will lose on occasion.

Who cares if your folded hand would've won? It's going to happen, it's still a good fold regardless of the outcome. And who cares if you got all your chips in with a strong hand (AK is a monster with only 5 BBs) and lost? You made the right choice.

As long as you're making the right choices, the outcomes don't matter.

Once you fold, forget them, just because the rubbish you had, (ie 62) hit it would have been a very bad play to invest with a rubbish hand, and 62 is just plain rubbish.

Dude, it's poker. By all means, based on your sample size of one hand, fold AK every time. And based on your sample size of one hand, shove all in with 6-2 every hand.

Ask yourself how many times did you win with AK ? Its just variance you are experiencing. Lets say you won that hand with 6 2 and you continue to play those bad cards. You would lose all your money in no time. So keep playing your TAG game and in the long run you will see your ROI going up.

the only reason to call 62 is when you have a big stack ( over 60 blinds) and you have to pay small quantities in late positions, also you can call it in HU ( in HU you should call almost all hands at preflop)

When you have 5bb's your options are very limited. Well your only real option is to get it in preflop and hope for a double up; there's not really a huge benefit for thinking too hard about this situation because the play is pretty straightforward. The bigger question you should be asking is what happened for you to have a stack of only 5bb's. Because at that stack size you have already lost your ability to "play poker".

No matter how many blinds you have, you fold 6 2 preflop

so if you have 35000 chips, someone makes a desperate all-in whit 180 chips, eveyone folds and you are in BB, do you fold?

yes sometimes you fold a very band hand preflop and afterwards you see that if you called you would win that hand no regret you folded it ,if we called every hand it will be a disaster

I think the problem is the tightness. Not tight enough perhaps? Loose even? Js Carry on.

Bets are made mostly for cards that are good, but sometimes are for cards that are bad. Flop is sometimes good, but bad for others, and viced verses. So make a bet or fold becames very difficult. And when additioned in the reads and telling boxers, it's like fighting and not knowing how to fold.

Spending time paying attention to what if's after folding instead of paying attention to the players still in the hand, is a problem.
Folding 62 off pre flop is not.

Yeah I see those folded hands hit all the time, and the first thing I think, is how can I call with hands like that, and then I forget about it. Keep in mind that anything can happen playing poker. I have folded AK on the button facing a big raise. and when I seen the flop, I was glad I did. I've learned here that's it's better to be a fold station instead of a call station. LOL
