Hi guys ,

Situation from freeroll.

I had 1500 chips ( 50bb) and got pocket Kings. I raised pre flop (3bb) from MP , called by three guys ( one was on the button , two others were on the blinds). Button had 70bb , SB 120bb and BB 30bb. I played with only one guy (BB) and marked him as a TAG , with others I weren't playing against them.

Board is J83 rainbow. SB checked , BB bet 2/3 of the pot. I knew that he has top pair for sure so I bet 900 and forced him all in. Button quickly folded , BB called my bet and SB also (It was shocking for me , I started thinking he has a set).

Queen came on the turn and I shoved my last 18-20bb ( I didn't have much of chips).

SB turned 10-9s and BB Q-Jo.

Guys what did I do wrong ?? Should I shove on the flop , not betting only 900 ??
Should I be a little bit more suspicious in this situations ?? Should I shove pre flop instead of raising only 3bb ??

I probably would had called bb bet on the flop as you had position on them although with that flop theres always going to be straight posibilities. Laying down kings isn't easy but with such strength being shown from 2 players in EP i would have definately taken caution. Chin up, move on :)

My chances were 60%. SB had 35% and BB 8% to win.

Only one player show strength (BB) , small blind checked so I assumed that he missed the flop or had some lower pair but when BB bet I knew for sure he had some AQ and hit his top pair.

Don't know If I'll commit half of my stack to an OESD (only 8 outs like SB did)

It's a free roll, people will call just about any kind of 3 bet pre flop just to see a flop. In a normal game of poker with cash at stack I wouldn't say you didn't do anything wrong but like I said its a free roll, even if you would have pushed PF All in one those hands might of just called you anyways.

there are many Lags that use to play in freerolls and micro, i've learnt from bad experiences that when you have a good hand in flop, you have to shove. they could be very dangerous in turn or after.

Its a freeroll, you are playing with calling station. Just jam flop or call and fold to a bet on the turn.

if i bet large at flop most times i just get to steal the pot and also always wait for at least first 5 or 6 hands to play first then play the table i always find that with the free rolls in the first 3 to 6 hands they will push all in regardless what cards they have in hand and play coin flip.

It's a Freeroll don't expect people to play a certain play style. No one plays "Proper" in freerolls it's just how it works. It's what we call a shove fest or Chase City!

What was the point of the massive 3bet on the flop for 30 BBs and leaving 17 BBs behind?

If you though SB had a set after flatting a massive overbet on the flop, why jam the turn? What hands did you expect to fold for 17 BBs after calling a massive 30 BB 3bet on the flop?

To be honest I assumed that if SB checked he missed so I 3bet 900 to force BB all in.

It was shocking for me that SB after checking just call me.

well played, players are unpredictable in the freeroll and we can't fold top pair on dry board..

Then without me writing, it just simply freeroll. It is unnecessary to wait for the players which the tactics. Here no one loses. I would have immediately thrown into allin. Because the stack you have not been large

As already mentioned by people before me - in these early stages of the freerols, there are always guys who call with any hand. With good hand, they go all in, most likely. With KK in hand, I would go AI in this early stage, and let SB and BB to decide either to call or not.
I would use 3bet at later stage og the freeroll, instead...

Freeroll I would've raised 5-7x with any super premium hand as people will call with a wide range in a freeroll take advantage of their looseness

That's not always true. Whenever in early stages I had aces or kings and shove or bet big portion of my stack everyone folds and I got meaningless blinds ...

Never admitt what someone has only why he checked. A check shows too much strong in some cases. And remember: it was a freeroll, there are too much donkeys.

Well, indeed that happens sometimes (less then 50%, in early stages for sure), but it makes you a chance to increase your stack, by kicking off some donkyes
