I have just recently started playing poker online after quite a long break. I am hesitant to deposit as since the rules around online poker in Pennsylvania are very unclear.

Given that I have been occupying my time playing the ACR freerollscand trying to get my game back up to speed. I am routinely making the top 50 and my best finish is 17th. I am working through some leaks but any good tips would be appreciated.

I'd say it's not worth it to play $10 freerolls. There'll likely be over 100 participants and when you split up 10, it won't be worth it considering the time you invest in it.

Try to join Cardschat freerolls & there's a site called pokerglobalinfo where they post the freerolls schedules of many sites.

80% of the people will just be super donks and it isn't worth the effort you gotta put in to win it for the Cents or 2 $

I registered for the SNAP freeroll tournament on 888 the other day, I missed the whole tournament but still ended up with 1¢ - wouldn't be worth the effort but that cent can be used in the steps tournaments to get into higher tournaments.

My advice, play poker, don't worry about donkeys. Although it always seem they win, that's not always the case, and you'll feel great busting them out

If you are routinely making the top 50 then perhaps you should look up "M Value" or "M Level".

You may have a leak in your game. Are you one of those people who just tries to survive as long as possible while your stack size is whittled away and is usually much smaller than the average stack size of the tourney?

Generally I have been getting too aggressive with marginal hands. My mid tournament play needs some work. Focus and disiciplin are my primary issues. I am familiar with M value from reading Dan Harrington's books way back when.
