Just made a stupid call and stacked off when If I had taken a little more time like I was doing at start If say I may not have called then hand. Beaten by a better kicker.

Try to plan and choose good times for you to play poker. Schedules where you know you'll not be bothered after 2h-3h or 4h of play (MTT)

Practice physical activity and have a healthy diet. If possible, start taking omega-3, concentration aid! (I know this may be cliché, but your concentration will improve a lot)

Observe your opponent's attitudes at the table at all times and don't ignore the simple logic behind poker! (I usually watch analysis videos of Brazilian players who have already won bracelets in wsop, and believe me, they often play based on a simple logic)

And lastly, don't be afraid to make mistakes or be eliminated from a tournament! Don't make room for indecision at the table! Play Deciphered and if you make a mistake, simply try to fix it OFF POKER (don't worry about errors IN GAME)

One man, one chip!

Throw on some good tunes while you play. I think it helps me to maintain focus. And always remember! Patience pays off.

It happens to play a hand you believe that moment and comes nothing! Concentration must start from the beginning of the game. You must try to take advantage of the brakes and have some rest before game.

I try and go through the same routine every hand so it just becomes natural even late in tournaments. Of course like everything it take a lot of practice and doesn't always work.

As long as you learn something every time you make a mistake, this will happen less and less. Stay hydrated and don't play a tournament you don't have the ability to finish focused. Good Luck.

It happens to me the same, there comes a point that I lose concentration and make moves that I should not do, I still try to control that, sometimes I listen to music and that helps me a lot

Many times it happens that when we make a mistake in the game we lose concentration and we can not recover, when it happens to me I try to clear a bit and I look for a way to take control of my game again

I always like to listen to some music or be watching something in the background. It helps you to not play too many hands and just makes the experience better.

Now that you've made the mistake, you should learn from it. It sounds like you are and that's great. Think about what you will do different next time in that situation.

Good luck at the tables.

I would recommend taking a concentration supplement. Avoid caffeine if possible. Impatience just compounds mistakes exponentially.

Honestly when I start getting deeper into MTTs I will go into hyper focus mode. Be sure to have no distractions and see your cards from the second they are dealt to plan for what to do if X/Y happen. I also find a coffee or energy drink helps keep me alert.

Thanks very much for the tips lads. Very helpful. I've made some adjustments and I Def won't make that mistake again.

Would you guys have any tips for a mental check list going through each hand pre and post flop? Or is it better to reevaluate each street separately or have a plan prior to each street etc

Before deciding to raise/ fold etc

Thanks for the replies very helpful
