I play a lot of freerolls, but i notice its harder to win those, then when i play for real money. How do i beat the people that go all in with every hand?

Play super tight for the first while until the people going all in every hand have busted. Just play your best, generally freerolls have a lot of entrants making it harder to make it into the money

Usually in a freeroll I'll call all-ins preflop a little lighter than normal during the beginning of the tournament. Probably call with AQo+, AJs+ and 88+

Just go all in as well, and if you bust just hop in the next one. It's free anyways.

Fold until you can get a premium hand, let them push then you pull the trigger on them.Put the pressure on them.I know you have heard that saying players who pressure don't like being pressured.

Playing good abc poker works well. Bet when you have it, fold when you don't. Its not worth floating against freeroll players imo.

You want all at once? No. Not going to work. Only long training can help you. Yeah, I forgot, be sure to enable your head. Good luck and win games;)

I have experienced the exact opposite - freerolls are much easier than real money tournaments.

There are people who don't care and will bluff their chips off to you for no reason.

Just realize you aren't going to get anyone to fold a hand and value bet a lot with good hands.

You are going to get beaten most of the time in any tournament, but that doesn't mean you can't play in such a way to get a big stack and make deep runs pretty consistently.

Good luck to you! :D

The big number freerolls are depressing.
Study hard and learn as much about poker as you can.
Make as many quality posts on this as possible, join the League and the Freeroll Club when you qualify, and you will find freerolls much more enjoyable:)

All depends on structure of free roll tournaments. For example it is not enough be only tight, when you play at 888, because tournaments there are super hyper and I hardly believe that you will have monsters every hand. You must right away gain initiative and dictate your will at the table, because the blinds and ante in such tournaments are very big. So the more hands you win the better! Gl to you, mate!

freerolls are minefields to navigate through. You will have to get lucky alteast a couple times to win as players will put you all in constantly with junk and may suckout on you.

In freeroll there is some time when you are losing with very good cards, like AA KK. There if you are in first 10, you should only call, not raise.

This is just my opinion, nothing official

To win in a freeroll, you need to be able to take risks - catch all your chances.

There is no method, there are only studies that improve your chances, your experience and good game will make you win or lose a freeroll

Just play superstrong holdings for the first 45 minutes.
Such as AA,KK,AK. Even QQ i don't trust with those bingo players in the beginning. Later on in the game you have the more sensible players left and you can easily play your own style:)

Hope this helps a bit

how to win a free roll

well, they are frustrating a lot of the time, but maybe keep in mind that you have to work these in stages. play only good hands at first to get a stack. don't get swept away by the all-maniacs; especially in a bad position. once they start no trouble to get 5-6 all-ins at once. your chances decrease then....too many cards out. half the field or more is usually gone in the first 45 minutes, then the field seems to calm down a bit. that's stage one, culling the field. now you have to play a little more aggressive. Next goal is to make it over the bubble. Once you have done that, you are in the money anyways and can relax and have a bit of fun with it. good luck in your endeavours.

Thank you, that's a tip i can use. People are going crazy in freerolls :D All i want is play poker and not lotto. I know how to play poker, dont need lessons or anything, it just needs to stay fun and not frustrating. :)

That is exactly what i do, but even with AA or KK or AK i lose against the noobs. It's what you said, bingoplayers. Why play poker if you can't be a little bit serious. What's the point of going all in with a bad hand preflop. Oh well, i don't think i will ever understand such people :D

hi

I dissagree on that one. I don't need to study, i'm not a pro but i can play a good game. I know tactics etc but they are no good if everyone keep going all in preflop with absolutely nothing and still win the pot. So i will just wait a while before i play :) (y)
