I have played a bunch of these tourneys. You should play quite tight in the early stages (i know it is a turbo) but when you get a good hand you shouldn't be afraid to raise with it. Sometimes you get horrible bad beats but on the long run playing like this will get you a profit. Tell me how you have been doing at them after you gather a big sample. GL

I would have to say that I recommend to avoid these at such low buy-in levels. With that said, I would strongly recommend that you play extremely tight for the first 3 levels. These often become "all-in" fests and people will literally play any two cards, which I have seen lead to many bad beats. I would encourage you to only play what I consider to be Category 2 hands or better (AA,KK,QQ,JJ,AK). By all means try to see all flops with a smaller pocket pair if the price is low on the offchance you can hit a set.

Ya these tournaments are shove fests in the beginning so just be patient and pick ur spots carefully any potential hand you enter can lead to an all in, u almost have to use a different mentality in these because this isn't typically how u see people react in tournaments with crazy loose calls
