As player's skill have increased since they can learn basic poker strategy and free poker HUD is introduced, Making profit and grinding is even harder than before. In other words, the 'edge' is disappearing. -Even micro stakes SnG too- For these reason, a strategy that is posted before 2015 seems not useful(or outdated). So, I try to find the edge from re-stealing, and squeezing however, I don't know general re-steal and squeeze strategy. So.. I ask the question.
Any general re-stealing and squeezing guide? like hand range, situations.. etc...

Restealing and squeezing is player really player and situation dependent which is why it's hard to construct a "standard" hand range for it. If you're using a HUD, the more TAGish villain's stats seem, the more likely you are to get fold. Also look at bet sizing and position... A guy who 3x UTG is probably way stronger than a guy who 2x the BTN. If a TAG is 2-2.5x on the BTN every time I'm in the SB, I usually 3bet Ax and suited kings

What site and stakes do you play? If you're disciplined, patient, and adhere to the standard "NIT early, LAG late" philosophy for 9mans, you should still have a pretty good edge at the micros

I usually play pokerstars 0.25 buy in 45 man SnG.

Using an HUD is pretty much a must to help you out in looking for spots to make +EV re-steals and estimating a re-steal range.

Some things to take into account.

>What position is your opponent raising from
>How many overcallers (people who flatted the preflop raise) are there
>What is your stack size?
>What position are you in? You can make more re-steals in LP than EP.
>Based on your stack size in relation to the pot, should you be pushing all in or making a normal 3bet?
>What is your hand? Often times it will be better to reshove a hand like T9s than A5, because T9s has better equity vs a calling range.
>Reads on your opponent? If you're opponent is raise-folding a lot, you can re-steal lighter, if you're opponent is a NIT, you should be squeezing/re-stealing a lot lighter.

Without looking at specific situations, it is hard to give much input on the topic. GL in your games!
