Lately this is all I want to play and have been playing in the early morning (EST) game on pokerstars. Cashed 3 out of 4 days so far with my best being 21st place.

I am looking for some more strategy on play for these games. PLO8 stuff is very hard to find. I have 3 really good books but they fcus more on ring games than they do Tourneys.

Look forward to discussing this topic with you all.

I haven't found any decent book on it, but these games are often a real donkfest. People go from holdem to thinking they can play this game and are just awful. There is a lot of money to be made here if you can figure it out.

You are right. Most of the time people think they have the nuts when they have top pair. These people will call all kinds of bets. Problem is there is no way to bluff them when you need to. I guess there are ups and downs to that. Net peddling is still profitable in this game it seems.

All it takes is 2 people to ruin the game, reraising each other preflop with any cards. I just wait until I have a premium hand and just call the fools, but it boils down to luck of the board. If you can win a few pots early in a tourney it's a huge advantage.

You are right. There are a lot of raises and re raisers in these games. If I get the feeling that is the way the table is going I will certainly nut peddle for a while and see how things play out. The thing about PLO8 for me is that even A2xx suited is not a hand i really want to be all in pre flop with. I wait for spots and make my move when the board hits me right.

It kills me though to watch people scooping pots with 2899
